I bought a C-7 Corvette Stingray Z51 with the manual transmission. I absolutely love my car, even though it's a 2017 , and 7 years old now. I always get compliments on the car, everyone loves it!!! Mine is Admiral Blue metallic, with black interior. I absolutely love the car, it's got plenty of power, and no one wants to challenge me in it. When I first got the car 2 years ago,I raced it a couple of times. I guess that the word got out about my car. Because I can't get anyone to play with anymore. I live near Tyler TX, and have entered it in a couple of car shows, and have won trophies with it, for best in class!! Mine has the magnetic ride control, it's an absolute blast to drive!!! Love the car, it was the best thing I ever did, getting my car!!! Worth every penny!!!
I have owned my new 2017 for 2 years and I daily commute it. I don't see any blind spots. Wheel spin was solved when I replaced the rear tires (stock 285 runflat) with the wider 295 wide nonrunflat Michelin Pilot Super Sport (nonrunflat Michelin Sport 4s would be even better).
This was probably the most honest review and personal info i seen anyone give on their corvette and insurance info . I don’t know why people act like telling how much they pay for insurance is like giving out their social security
Quiet frankly, I’d ever thought of getting into anything besides European cars. Since I was 6, I had a passion for them having their unique style and character made with. Until the arrival of THIS PARTICULAR AMERICAN sports car, I definitely consider having to go with the Corvette. PS: These Corvette is undoubtedly sharing much similarity with Ferrari
Cool review, but I just wanna point out that you said no other car in that price range that has similar power and styling as if the Mustang or Camarro doesn't exist lol
It’s a gas guzzler when driving super fast everywhere as you can imagine. On the freeway in eco mode going the speed limit it gets better mileage than my V6 Acura TL. So you get really good gas mileage if you drive normal and if you punch it every now and then gets worse but not too bad at all.
I always put premium fuel in sports cars where stuff is spinning fast and big stuff. You don’t want it to have a hard time moving. It will run on any fuel I’m sure but it’s not ideal for peak performance.
I’m 6’5” too. That’s why I got this car. It’s a little tight and sometimes need to duck my head to see a traffic light. Overall it has room for us. I would just go drive one and see how it feels. I’m guessing you’ll love it.
i am in brooklyn new york. middle age guy with no tickets or accidents ever. geico wants $750 a month to insure this thing. did ya read? yeah, $750. what a scam
