Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow is the direct sequel to Aria of Sorrow, continuing the adventures of Soma Cruz and his companions. This sequel lives up to the Castlevania name and is a worthy successor to Aria. Thanks for watching.
The game's good ending doesn't require the souls of particular regular enemies. The ones you mentioned are just interesting secrets (like the Sky Fish in Aria of Sorrow). You only need them if you want to collect all the souls. The best ending only requires that you figure out Dario's source of power and don't become the Dark Lord. Also this game feels more like a spinoff. Konami played it very safe. Nothing is gained or lost after the adventure ends. All the friends escape unscathed and all the new characters are enemies, that for sure die in the best ending. It has literally no consequence to the main plot.
Just found your channel and Im really digging it. Dawn of sorrow is the 1st metroidvania castlevania I played (I didnt play SotN until about 5 years ago cuz I never owned a playstation back then) and it got me hooked. My previous experiences with the series were 1-3 and the 3 gameboy ones. And Bloodlines. That to this day is still my absolute fav of the old style Castlevanias, although I love the 3 NES ones too. I just beat Curse of the Moon 2 and it made me nostalgic for Castlevania 3. Then I found your channel, and Im really liking your content. Subbed.
Hopefully Konami will release a DS collection like they did with the GBA games. They'd have to make a few changes to get around the touch screen features, but Capcom was able to do that with the Mega Man ZX games so it is possible.
Unfortunately, no I'm not. I've lived in a few different places throughout the US where there are pretty distinct accents, so it's probably a combination of a lot of different ones.
