I've got the Sparco P310 USB version, I do love it, now, but they definitely rushed it putting the stickers on the Rotary's, pretty wonky, and mine didn't come in a swanky box like yours, it was a pretty beat up brown box. It does have a funky switch on the USB version though, but it's not the greatest funky switch, it's got a specific way that I need to use it, maybe that's how funky switches are, I just don't know, it's my first wheel with that kind of switch on it.......all that being said, now that I'm used to it, I love it! The paddles are awesome.
A bit strange that the GT pro wireless ones do not have the 7 funky switch key on the left while the USB have. Thanks for the video. It’s nice having one on the OMP.

since none of those two is mobile/foldable, i guess you got enough space, therefore: go for 8020. if you dont wanna design it yourself, go for GT1-Evo from simlab. simracing is one of that hobbys that never stops progressing. with 8020 youre prepared for the future, my friend ;) trust me. you wont regret it
I have ordered a simucube 2 pro and HE pedals (spring version) and I am thinking to buy this wheel because of your great review. The question I have is as follows: I will go with a USB steering wheel (not a wireless)..In your video, you connected the usb to the PC I guess.. will another USB cable must be connected to the wheel and then straight to the PC too? What does the one you are using behind the wheel handles? communication or charges the wheel?
Have you had any issue with missed gears shifts etc due to wireless dropouts? How many hours do you have on the wireless wheel? I am considering the formula sport wireless and this is my only concern. Did Cube Control give you any guidance on the wireless side, ie how much testing they did etc? I have the Simucube 2 Ultimate. Love the show, keep it up.
That was just caused by a mistake with the wiring when I put it back together. Once I sorted it I haven’t had any dropouts at all. Probably 20 hours use now.

good review. Id rather go for ssrg wheel in this price range tho-) And with this wheel and asher racing botton plates cases (b16's) i dont understand, why there are no funkies. They would fit much better then those 2 rotaries.
Question related to the suede leather: Does the leather from the rim rub off? I heard from other suede leather steering wheels that they tend to rub off pretty bad and that they leave black stains on your hand (if you don't use gloves). I have nothing against normal wear, but if it leaves black stains on the hands after driving that would be a contra for me. Thanks in advance, love your channel and your videos!
The Asher I have is a very different style of wheel being formula, I think it may still have a slight edge in overall finesse but they’re very close. I’d say you’d be happy with either.
Hi mate, love the content. A question: is it possible to remove the centre toggle switches from the board (without soldering)? would be nice to not have to drill every wheel one wants to try with this box. Thanks!
Boosted Media yeah that was the one I was looking at anyways, heard that of you don’t have any hub connected to the fanatec base the FFB acts weird, so that’s why I was looking at getting the wheel with the podium wheel hub,
noise..not as loud, a nice clicking sound ?????? jeez Will, when you are driving you won't hear anything. Nice to see a nice bunch of labels instead of the boring Fanny stickers. It would be nice to have USB for the buttons because when the battery dies or if you have a low battery and forgot to charge and a race is coming up having that option would be nice.
The sound is important to some people. Particularly streamers and content creators. You’d be amazed how many people complain my videos are “unwatchable” when I use the Asher racing wheel because the shifters are loud.
@@boostedmedia have you considered replacing the aluminium paddle shifters with carbon fiber shifter paddles? It makes quite a lot of difference to sound (and feel)
