It probably wouldn't work, the nerf dart wouldn't have enough force to detonate it. Maybe with a modified springer or maybe a rival, but definitely not a flywheel or belt fed.

I like using smaller rubber bands and 7 darts, makes a very convenient hexagonal grenade that ideally fits in my fist

@@cdug420 Ah, but that wouldn't really make these Nerf grenades really qualify as grenades if you actually have to smack someone with them. Might as well just toss a rock or sock at someone. I usually restrict the use of grenades like these to just darts, specially indoor wars as the rival balls can just bounce everywhere and if your ruleset doesn't accommodate for them, everyone can potentially just get tagged out by one grenade. Darts don't bounce as much and more can be stuffed in.

Maybe k\if you can get your hands on the "Glow" darts it would work.

To put an LED onto a dart, you'd have to wire the LED itself, the board, and a power source, making a single round much heavier and possibly not even fit into the grenade. You're better off with glow in the dark darts. Just make sure you have them activated beforehand and obviously this works better at night.
