I love the people cards! I love the plain palette and the minimalist design, yet retaining many traditional aspects. Maybe the stories you posted on this deck can become a full video in the future!
I am glad you are enjoying the deck; I love it too! 😊 So far I've really been reading Lenormand books to learn more than I have doing actual readings, but I'm enjoying the process and this deck is fantastic to learn with.
I love reading Lenormand books but it’s so difficult for the meanings or possibilities to stick in my head :( I hope you talk about your explorations soon!!
@@BoyDiviner I will. But I've been a bit sidetracked, reading about Mlle. Lenormand and the history of French cartomancy... so interesting, but not teaching me to read the system. But I plan my first Lenormand video to be about materials I am using, initial thoughts etc.
Tarot has 72 cards while Lenormand has (only) 36. Does that affect in any way how you see and use this deck? I mean, 36 is not many compared to tarot (or Yijing for that matter). I like the cloth that is made for this deck, but also the art & style of the cards. They look so.....reliable.
Thanks for the question!! Lenormand is really about reading cards together - you can’t read one card by itself, unlike the Tarot or YiJing where a card or a hexagram may provide an answer. Lenormand doesn’t stand alone so there are 2 to the power of 36 (?) combinations at the very least hahahaha.
@@BoyDiviner Thanks, I didn't know that. Let's see, that would give 1260 different combinations... Not bad for such a small deck. Now you got me interested! (Of course this doesn't come near the 4096 combinations in the Yijing but quality is more important than quantity.). I'll see if I can find this cute little deck from your video.
YiTube Channel the YiJing is great - I am deciding if I want to take another YiJing course because it’s not easy for me but it’s tough on my wallet atm so I’m thinking real carefully!! There are many Lenormand decks but I love this one the most haha
I actually got this through Kickstarter and it was all bundled together! I’m not sure retail wise how this is done but I would suspect he’d include it.
