This was really easy to set up and install. After 3 months of use, I'm buying more of these. Use my Affiliate links to support my channel at no cost to you: HTZSAFE Wireless Outdoor Motion Sensor and Alarm System amzn.to/3EcvE6K
I've had this system setup in my circular driveway for a few months and I could not be more pleased! They really work great. I use the 'dog bark' on two of the units in my home and the 'driveway' tone in two other rooms. The only thing that has set off a 'false alarm' have been crows walking around in the driveway, which doesn't happen very often. Delivery people either walking up to the house, or in vehicles are picked up before they come close to the front door.
What is the minimum distance you can set it too ??? I’m looking it to go across the drive possibly 22feet , I seen the Amazon video showing it set up inside a doorway and on the stairs so I’m assuming it can go as short at 4foot distance. Our town has had a lot of car break ins so I’m looking something for out of hrs detection!
I have one set up on a tree that is about 20 feet from my driveway and it is pointed straight across the drive. It works great, and I always know with the delivery guy is here. If you just want to know about vehicles, you can set it low and point it up to avoid it being set off by cats and squirrels.
Well made video. Thank you for that. I am thinking of ordering the same units. I have some question. Do you get lots of false alarms? I don't want the sensor to detect cats or dog , so for that , i wonder by putting the sensor high enough, it will not detect low animals. What do you think? I just want the units to let me know when someone is in my yard or trying to jump my fence. How is the batteries holding up so far? Thank you for your help.
I still haven't changed batteries yet. Animals will set it off, but you can adjust the field of view by where you point it. It might take some trial and error though. You're going to have that problem with any IR detector.
We bought one of these, the receiver broke after only a few days and was stuck in a constant flashing and beeping loop, it worked fine before this and we hadn't touched or changed anything with it, just suddenly stopped working and starting beeping and flashing, sensors were unmoved, it was like 2-3 little "tick" beeps per second, we had them returned to get a new one, and the new one did the exact same thing the moment we opened the box, no functional service through the sensors at all, either they just resent us the same broken one, or there's something that they didnt explain in the directions, or they're just really that bad, any idea what might be ailing them? Brand new batteries too.
@@PirateStu Not sure what counts as a large transmitter. I'd say most we got is a wifi router, outside tv satellite dish, down the road some very large power lines.
@@Zonose My only suggestion is to take it to someone else's house and see if it works there. I bought these for my father and I have bought numerous sets with no issues.
You should only need to pair the devices if you are adding additional sensors that were purchased separately. I did show the web address on the video that shows you how to add more devices, but maybe I should make my own video. I'll add it to my list of things to do. Thanks.
My indoor unit did not even last year then also bought another one that also didn’t last year. Try to get an extra one for free through EBay. Just forget it. EBay also hopeless.
I have seen that mentioned on some other sites as well. I wonder if something could be used as a roof or enclosure to prevent rain from getting inside. Thoughts from either of you?
