Attention Important: The CR Pro can only operate vehicles that were built up to around 2016/2017. For all newer vehicles you need the CR Pro + (until around 2021/22). No lifetime free updates... There haven't been any updates for this for a long time. Only for the system, but not for the vehicle files. Unfortunately, I fell for it too. If you want a more sustainable OBD scanner, you'll probably have to go for Launch, Autel or something similar. A pity.

I bought this for my Mercedes 2010 c-class W204 with om651 engine. It helped me to find out that I needed to replace the ABS sensor-rings on first the right aft wheel, then on the left. It also helped me to find that I needed to replace the DPF differential pressure sensor. But it failed me when I needed to replace the automatic transmission fluid. You need to know the temperature of the oil then. But unfortunately there is NO LIVE DATA from the Transmission Control Unit!!!!!! Can you imagine how disappointed I was???
@@autofokusDanmark But, this is the 722.6 transmission, used on many mercedes-models, and I have seen others reading e.g. the oil-temperature. And the two rpm sensors. And wanted and actual gear-setting.... I did manage to read the temp by using a temperature-gun, however. Pointing it at the bottom pan. I think its a bug. Many of the other controllers have live data.

One thing that i would like to see added to these Scan Tools is a second column showing Normal parameters ie .5volts (Nomal between .1 and 2 Volts for example. This would be a significant help to Diyer… thanks again for the review… free updates, thats great

@@autofokusDanmark My Opel Zafira B 2.7cdti (2014) will not do a DPF Regen.. Do certain parametres/conditions need/ have to be made before it will do one? I was hoping to do one before EGR clean and oil change…?
