Every time I open mine I literally have to say out loud “god damn this is a good screen” it’s so so good! I don’t like the plastic build feels kind of bad but can’t complain for the power and 2in1 deal
@@ananttomar1865 The mini LED of course. Its absolutely amazing the level of contrast you can achieve on it and brightness. You dont think it makes a big difference but it actually does. My son bought the IPS model and even he said holy shit the first time he used mine and wanted to return his lol. Honestly speaking the IPS is a really good screen but once you experience the mini led in all its glory you cant go back. I also use G=helper to swap between multi zone and single zone backlighting depending on what im doing for the best experience. Single zone makes it just like the normal IPS but much brighter if you want it to be and multi zone gives the OLED style look but it doesnt fare well on white text on black backround but you know that going in and the fact you can swap how it works to resolve this is so so good. I just cant use normal ips panels anymore i even sold my actual monitor and bought a mini LED viewsonic xg321ug because of this thing opening my eyes lol
@@AlphaScorpii1986 it’s top tier for plastic but it’s still plastic and feels cheap. If you ever have a need to open the bottom the lid is one of the worst I’ve felt of any laptop tbh. The creaky hinges until they break in. The flex is all poor to flagship standards but still decent if you catch my drift. If your used to a legion 7 or MacBook or even an asus M16 (2023 only) which is almost identical to this but more metal and premium then the X16 feels like trash.
@@frostgodx Hello sir! Thanks for the detailed review. I just bought the IPS one..and woahhhhhh..even the ips screen is beautiful. Just makes me wonder how good the mini led will be. Do you suggest to return this and save some more for the mini led one? Is it worth it that much? I am not an avid gamer so if the difference is only while gaming then I am good. But if it is while doing day to day tasks or watching movies then i will definitely consider buying the mini led one instead if the difference is very stark
How did you get one with Mini-LED and RTX 4060? I thought the 4060 models did not have Mini-LED, and the only ones with Mini-LED are the much more expensive RTX 4070 models?
Hello Sir! I bought the IPS screen 3050 variant as it was in my budget..do you think the difference between mini LED and ils is night and day or is it just brightness and little more inky blacks in mini LED? Hoping for a reply
Same question for me. In Italy Nebula is not imported. Somewhere I read the Nebula 1000nits brightness is only for HDR contents and in the others cases it work with 500nits like the IPS.
Need help. Is the digitizer on it bad? Does it have the grid like structure where you can see small boxes that the entry level 2 in 1s have because that looks very ugly. Also, my usage is very limited. I am buying it just for the screen..i want it to be best..i will be watching movies, browsing and note taking..do let me know if it is made for me..will really appreciate your reply.
In my opinion, the digitizer on the Flow X16 is decent. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate it somewhere around 6.5 to 7. And no, it doesn't seem to have the grid structure you mentioned. If you only need the screen and some basic tasks, tbh, this device is worth it if money isn't a problem for you. I hope this helps, and I apologize for the late response.
it uses the microsoft pen protocol but not the same standard as the surface studio which is far superior. Basic sketching and notetaking you'll be fine. I still think wacom aes is better. Even better samsung wacom emr on their book 360 is a better digitizer. That said it's a great device and will depend on your needs/preference.
@@ThinkVieweng thanks a lot for the clarification :) i guess i will buy it Just a follow on question, any idea how the screen is compared to their vivobook 3k 120hz oled displays?
@@eds464 thanks for the reply...i did see the samsung one but i did not like the display... brightness was off and it just did not click to me Asus entry level laptops have better displays in my opinion...just talking about the looks of it..usage wise it does have all the box checked
