Reviewed: Maeving RM1 

This would absolutely be amazing if its top speed was 60-70mph instead of 45mph, especially if I were to ride this here in the US. Other than that, this is a beautiful and reasonably priced e-motorbike.

This is the most fit-for-purpose electric motorbike I've seen so far.

Brilliant, well done. Maybe if the footpegs were placed forward and higher bars it may give a better riding stance. Being able to use the tank for storage on a local shopping trip is great,

I’d prefer a bench seat but it’s a beautiful bike.I’ve seen it at Tobacco Docks in London and it’s even nicer when you see it in the flesh.

Saw that bike on Pinterest a few months back. I never fell in love with an inanimate object that fast before.

Tempted to get on for my 16 mile journey to work everyday. Live in the countryside so it’s mainly B roads so unsure how it would cope. Means I could get rid of my car and save a lot of money everyday!

These are going to be a massive success! its a real shame it doesn't have a rack on the back to increase practicality !

Beautiful. But no regen braking is a big miss.

As mentioned this a city bike where the average speed is much lower than 45 mph , so if you want to go quicker one get an expensive one . I like it 😊👍

The sitting position is in such a way preposterous!

It's an awkward spot to live in speed-wise. Looks great but 45mph is a deal breaker for anyone outside of cities, I feel. If I can't get on the highway I'd prefer an e-bike for 1/3rd the cost. For the same price you can get highway speeds on other electric motorcycles.

I believe the new ones do 65-70 mph now...80 miles range. Now thats making them much more attractive. If they can improve slightly on weight...Range..say 100 miles.... Perhaps a few bhp more. This bike will become incredibly popular. Slightly larger headlight would give it something extra....Just my view. Others will disagree. Thoughts shared...From a biker.

I agree with 3Tan. 45mph top speed is a definite deal breaker. Shame since the bike is beautifuk otherwise.

Some will hate me for this but the concept of removable batteries is nothing new. Also, in my opinion, the Mangosteen M1PS (sold by Bumblebee, Buck City and Stirling Eco) is far better looking. Performance and price are both similar.

Energy cap ends 1st April 2023. Honda cub two seats, faster, cheaper and cheaper to run.

Buy a Honda Wave 110i, or whatever they're called in England.

I am sorry. But there are more powerful and faster ebikes in the USA then this. And cheaper. So they need to do a higher volt battery packs. And abit bigger AH as well. To make it actually worth there price tags.

Everything was exciting until the top speed was mentioned…then it was a no, again.

Can't find any uglier modern bikes than Maeving RM1. But I am sure they themselves can top this in newer design.

Too slow. Needs to be able to do 60mph, then you've got a serious contender across a nuch broader market

Quite nice looking. Not very practical and woefully underpowered.

The reality of this bike is people like you hyping it up with words like cool, and everyone's checking it out as you ride. That's OK if you want it for street cred but the reality is, its top speed is 45 mph, and that's a deal breaker right there. This is just for posers cause no real biker would buy it. And as these electric bikes and cars sell, the price of electricity will rise way above the cost of fuel, and this means the current infrastructure won't be able to support it. It's all a scam.

Lose the fake gas tank. You have an open platform to build ground up, yet you choose to build petro style. Pointless and lazy. Think new, think differently.

I agree beautiful frame ...top speed suks at least 80 mph
