"Something funny". Also, Blizzard should absolutely hire you, you seem like you can bring a bunch of creative, fun and fresh ideas to the table. Outlands has felt like its had some of that, and I would love to have more of that in the game :)

My thoughts on the redesigns: I would argue for card designs with multi-strike keyword synergy to have different types of rewards for the hero's self mutilation for board control. Either reducing the cost of big demons, giving power to your minions or your hero, stealing power (attack or health) from your opponent's minions, etc. would make an aggressive play style that seeks power from the huge risks in the play style instead of just more attack. Big demons could also utilize the ability to not truly die like the lesser demons they command. Through sacrifice (the hero's own or through the many smaller minions/opponent's minions) you can return the demons to your deck. You wouldn't want to bake that mechanic into the minions but instead into cards that support the archetype. The biggest problem with big cards comes from the ease of current hand/deck disruption strategies. All of the classes (neutral Reno hero too) employ it to various degrees of success and it can be painful when your opponent's game plan is you don't get to play until they say the safe word. Disruptive decks should counter some deck archetypes, however, they've become a dominant archetype that counters all decks and big demon hunter will suffer the most.

I love the idea of Multi-Strike. I feel like a lot of broken Windfury minions can be replace with this keyword. Hopefully, we get to see these revision of summoning Big Demons in the next sets or so.

Wow, I can't believe this series is over... You sure Hearthstone doesn't have another class you could revisit? :P Amazing work on all of it, and this one is no different. Big fan of Multi-Strike, and your new sigils. I almost wish you had expanded more on the Sigil system, because the new ones you presented were so great. In particular Sigil of Vengeance just seemed like brilliant design! All in all, great video, great series, and I really can't wait to see what comes next :D

I really loved your take on DH, it's so different from mine in some ways. Dormant, imo, should be a core aspect of DH arsenal that is underexplored in game and, in my picture of a DH 2.0, should be the core mechanic for a Big DH deck

A lot of thought put into this entire series, and turning big demon hunter into more of a control deck as opposed to a "scammy" deck(akin to the current thaddius warlock) is a welcome change. Multi-strike is a cool keyword. Maybe you could make it so that you just can't hit enemy face twice so you can still double trade into a big minion, similar to how the existing multi-strike works. Also, you kind of neglected the fel thing that demon hunters had. It was more of a one time thing, but I'm pretty sure that Demon Hunters in WoW do have a history of using fel spells. Maybe a bit more fel synergy is in order, if you were to reboot this series a few more years down the line.

The idea wasn't to revist the DECK BUILDING aspect to make each class unique? If that's the case, the only one that has something special currently is DK, so obvious DH would need a redesign. I liked the ideas you brough, but I think it lacks the deck building aspect.

The goal with this series was to add a tiny bit more complexity to each class, making each one stand out a bit more from one another mechanically. I felt that because DK was given a deck building system and class resource, the bar had been raised for the other classes to become a bit more complex. For some classes I decided to give them a deck building mechanic, for some I gave a class resource. The goal was not to make each class a clone of DK. I will admit that early on that is what I thought I’d do for each class, but after a lot of feedback and just personal reflection, I realized that just giving each class a rune system was the lazy way out, and that instead I should look to more subtly but effectively improve each classes core themes through smaller new mechanics. Hope that helps give you an idea of why I moved away from deck building mechanics for each class. I’m glad you like the ideas here, which in the end is my main goal, make ideas that people will be interested in. :)

Love this design. I do believe that hs devs aren’t dumb and they would also like changes like this but they probably fear the ripple effects of such sweeping changes to a class

I also have much respect for the HS devs and love the work they do! I too don't know how much any of these changes would actually be beneficial in practice, and so that is why these are mainly just fun ideas made to challenge my own design skills and explore the different classes

Bro you do put effort into your videos but come on man the balance is not hitting the mark at all. Just feel it a moment 6 mana 7/6 your opponent has practically 3 mana.No class can deal with it.Hack just look at paladin people can't deal with 2/1 properly. No wonder rarran had a field day. No hating man But balance is way off
