Reviving a 1984 Honda ATC200! First Start in YEARS! 

Hey buds, this trike is an 84 200es. It's got the drive shaft with reverse gear and hi and low drive. I know, I've owned 2 in the last 35 years. You will need a new carb for this because drilling through it has changed the fuel intake and it won't run right again until you get a new carb. They are really nice machines. I still own one and I recently got an 85 250es.

just a quick tech tip. It is a good idea to polish the float needle seat. this helps the float to seat and not allow too much fuel to enter the carb. a good way to do this is to cut a Q-tip in half , put it in a drill with some valve lapping compound on the tip. spin it on the float seat with the drill . it will polish the seat right up.

My family had held onto our 3wheelers since bought new. At 1 point we probably had about 14 or 15 all together. All hondas. We had 4 honda70, a 110, my dad had a 250r and a 350x. My uncle has a 250, and we have 4 Big Reds. Got rid of the smaller bikes as the years passed since all the kids grew up myself included. I'm 24 but I remember riding my Honda 70 as a kid, was the best thing ever now I wish we had never sold the little ones.

Like the vids man I miss my dad's old 3 wheeler so much we don't have any atvs any more and he really regrets getting rid of it but I'm working on building an off-road gocart with him so we don't have to spend an arm and a leg for an act but the go cart isn't coming along very well keep up the great work and you now have a regular watcher and subscriber

My dad had a 1962 mercury and the block cracked so coollant was puking out of the side of the block so we used jb weld epoxy and it held even when hot. It was a ghetto rig but it worked

I have a 200s 1984 honda. Atc. Any idea why the battery wont hold a charge? Tried 2 batteries. Replaced the rectifier. Could it be a alternator?

It really needs the battery to help the electrical system

If there is gas or persure comeing out the carb your intake valve is to tight Honda suggested 2 thousand of a inch on both intake and exhaust valve

I got a great running 1985 suzuki lt250f four wheeler. It's a lot like that one and I paid $250. I still ride to this day and it's been great. I also got a 1987 suzuki dr125 dirt bike for $200 and it runs great. I still ride to this day. It's been great and I am proud to say that I made a STEAL on these. What do you think?
