REVO ARC, REVO A, REVO... what is even the difference between them? Which one rides better? What's the difference between piggybacks and remote reservoirs? We sat down here at Legend Suspensions and wrote down all the frequently asked questions we get on these three shocks and decided to do a video on those questions of yours. By the end of this video you will know what rear shock you want for your Harley Davidson!

Just a rider testimony, here: I have been running the Revo A's on a 2012 FLTRU since they were 1st introduced at Sturgis, years ago, & I LOVE them. Combined with "Race-Tec" cartridge emulators up front, no problem with 2-up, solo, & scrapping floorboards keeping up with BMW GS1200, or a Honda VFR 800 in the twisties of the "Rockies" they are truly AWESOME shock absorbers.

Ive always replaced my stock Harley shocks with Legend with the exception of my 2009 Harley Rocker C, with that i went with a Shotgun shock. on my 2021 Street Glide i just put on some Revo A's and rode those around for about a month, now i purchased Legend Axeo for the front, cant wait to get these cartridges installed and see the difference.

Thank you for your business, we are happy to hear you are enjoying the product. The front end will make as much difference to the bike as the rear suspension did. Should be a great performance gain for you.

@@LegendSuspensions what is the preferred oil to use? I got from a Harley dealership and didn’t come with fork oil, what should I buy?
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Год назад
Snakebite, In the install guide we call out some recommended options. Our preference if for Maxima Heavy Duty Anti-Foaming 20WT But any comparable oil will work, but we do suggest 20wt.

Can you fit Revo Arc on Tri-Glides? I have a 2020 CVO Trike. Great videos especially the bloopers at the end.

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately we don't have a fitment for the REVO ARCs on the Tri-Glides. Here is what we offer for you bike. www.legendsuspensions.com/?s=&ymm_search=1&post_type=product_variation&_cat=TRIKE&_year=2020&_make=HARLEY-DAVIDSON&_model=FLHTCUTGSE%20-%20CVO%20TRI%20GLIDE

Hi. I’m about to upgrade my XL883N rear suspension. I want to go for the revo arc with the piggyback reservoir however, my iron has the HD rigid leather saddlebags so there’s no enough room between the frame and the saddlebags, should i get the revo arc with the remote reservoir?
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Год назад
Hello Pedro Emilio Gallardo Sandoval, Thank you for the comment, we would not recommend the remote reservoir model as this fitment is not indented for non-touring model bikes and for this reason it could cause warranty issues. We would recommend the Piggyback model of the Revo-ARC and you can generally turn the reservoir towards the front of the bike so the backs can mount behind it like a standard shock. This is also a common mounting solution on FXR's and Dyna models. We suggest checking to ensure you have clearance for this before trying, but this should work for you. IF you need any additional info or guidance on this please feel free to email service@legendsuspensions.com or try our chat feature as www.legendsuspensions.com Thank you!

I'd just lik to know the regular 1 and the rev a is ther any different ride I have a 2016 dyna Street bob and I ride 2 up every now and then but mostly by myself I was thinking just geting the regular???
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Год назад
Hey @scottyhefner3473 Between the Revo and Revo-A, there really is no wrong choice. The difference is the fixed or adjustable rebound dial. Out of the 1-6 setting the Revo-A has, the MOST popular all-around setting is setting 3, Setting 3 is excellent for just about everything and the standard Revo is always on setting 3. The standard Revo is not a downgraded model by any means, think of it more as setting 3 is so loved that we have a whole product line dedicated to it. If you tend to consistently ride within a normal range of cruising to aggressive the Revo is an awesome choice, the Revo-A does just offer different ride feel with the changeable option, however, about 65-70% of riders prefer setting 3 the best. The main note on the Dyna is we do tend to recommend the heavy-duty spring rate due to the shock angle and leverage ratio on the Dyna bikes. So even mostly solo riding or any 2-up riding we do recommend the HD spring rate. Exceptions would be if you are about 160lbs or less and just cruise and never have a passenger then you would go standard. We do offer spring swaps as well so if you ever wanted to change this is always an option for you. We hope this answers your questions. Service@legendsuspensions.com or our chat feature would be more than happy to help you with any other details.

Hey mate, will the 13 inch revo arc fit on 2020 rks with 50 cal tab performance muffler on
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 2 года назад
Craig, You should be all good there, We are not aware of any fitment issues with this on 13" shocks, however you can always doublecheck this fitment on your own by removing your lower shock bolts with a jack under the bike and raise the bike up until your upper and lower shock mount holes are 13" apart. This will show you if something will contact or if you are all clear. Often you will see the axle nut contact the muffler if something IS gonna hit, this is where we recommend you check first. Thank you.

I still don’t understand why REVO arc is more into performance. I always with my pillion and our road glide 15 usually around 800km per day. Does the revo arc will completely change the smoothness of the riding setup.
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 8 месяцев назад
Hello- The Revo-ARC mainly offers more suspension travel and additional adjustment options for a rider to be a bit pickier. It can absolutely ride nice and comfortable on a touring bike or riding style. You do not have to have performance all the time. The Revo-A will have rebound adjustment and the Revo-ARC has rebound and compression adjustment. It just depends on what the end user wants out of their shocks. We would be more than happy to further explain. Please feel free to email us Service@legendsuspensions.com

@@LegendSuspensions okay thanks for your explanation. What about the lowering kit with REVO A ? Does the performance will be good or no ? We would love to see your video about this explanation
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 8 месяцев назад
We do not recommend the use of lowering kits with our products as it alters the suspension geometry and decreases ride comfort and performance as well as skews the spring rate specifications and makes them harder to set suspension sag. In terms of Revo-ARC being more performance based, we personally feel the Revo-ARC is just as at home on a touring comfort bike as a purely performance-based bike. it is all about how they are setup and what someone likes best for settings. The Revo-ARC offers more suspension travel over the Revo-A and additional fine-tuning capabilities, and this lends it's self a bit more to the performance market as they tend to like the additional fine tuning over the normal cruising rider. You can absolutely setup the Revo-ARC for comfort touring if you would like.
