Appreciate you guys putting this series out. So many Dealers and Techs fail to set up the suspension and teach the rider how to properly adjust.

Can’t wait to install them and ride. I’m recovering from hitting a deer with my Street glide! Good information, I’ll do just that.

Loving my Revo Arcs best mod I have done on my bike hands down. The ride feels great down the highway and handles like it should have from the factory or better in the corners

Thank you guys for this. So when I have my wife get on I'll have to spin the spring to adjust for the sag but will that also change the compression and rebound? So I'll have to move all setting or just the spring?

How about the use of the 14" shock for a trike?

How do you know you have your springs preloaded the same on both sides?

when u have an hd shock does it make any difference in the tuning process? Thanks
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 2 года назад
Hey John, with the Heavy Duty spring, it will be the same tuning process as the standard. You will still need to achieve the 1 inch of sag if you have a 13 inch shock.

Can i install this one for my 94 electra glide?

Hello, Thank you for the inquiry, our fitments on rear suspension currently go back to 1997. This would unfortunately be a non-fitment. If you have any additional questions or are looking at fitting these in a custom application, please feel free to email Service@legendsuspensions.com and they can see if there are possibly any additional options for you on this.

So do you adjust the sag while sitting on the bike
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 2 года назад
Hey Bamm, yes, ultimately the sag is based off of the fully extended shock length, then how much you and the bike compress that shock from its original length. I.G. 13" shocks get 1" sag MAX, you seated on the bike do not want to compress the shocks to where they measure shorter than 12" from the center of the top bolt to the center of the bottom bolt.

I'm 170lbs, 22 RGS, Revo ARC. Having trouble with getting 1/2" sag. I'm getting less than 1/2" each try. Do I need to lengthen the spring to achieve the 1/2"?
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 2 года назад
Hey James thanks for reaching out. The sag should be set at about 3/4" to 1 inch of sag.
@RoadieWingZZ
@RoadieWingZZ 2 года назад
Definitely lengthen the spring by turning counter clockwise to soften the tension and allow more sag until it’s between 3/4” and 1”.

I HAVE THE COMPRESION SET ON FIRST CLICK , STILL SEEMS STIFF .
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Год назад
Hey James, Depending on what first click you are on, you may be on the firm setting. Please turn the compression adjuster all the way clockwise till it stops, then turn it about 6-7 clicks counter-clockwise as this would be your lightest compression setting. The compression and rebound will not be optimized for you unless your suspension preload is set appropriately so you will want to verify this as well. If you need any assistance doing this, we do have a video of how to set the sag on the Revo-ARC, or you can reach out to our Customer Service Department via the chat feature on our website or email service@legendsuspensions.com. It sounds like just a matter of getting you dialed in where you like the ride to be.

I recently purchased Revo Arcs for my 22 CVO Road Glide Limited. I never ride 2 up but I travel with luggage. When setting the sag, should I load my bike with all my luggage or should I set the sag to 3/4 and let the luggage achieve the additional 1/4 when loaded on bike? Hope this makes sense. lol
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions Год назад
Hey there, yes makes perfect sense. We often tell people to find a happy medium on their sag. If you like 3/4" and when adding weight, you get to that 1" mark and do not have to really touch it after that, that's great!

What would be a common/obvious symptom that your sag is not set correctly?
@LegendSuspensions
@LegendSuspensions 2 года назад
Hey Jayson thanks for reaching out. If your sag is not set correctly, you are going to either bottom the shocks out or feel as though the shocks are way too stiff. Proper sag adjustment ensures you are riding within the "sweet spot" of the travel range for optimal ride quality.
