It's so bad, it's good. Watching and rewatching the series in sub and dub is truly a top tier experience.

Rewatched it in dub it's pretty good actually!

@@NeonAtary777 it improves noticably in the Black Rose arc because they also didn't like the quality of their dub and brought Ikuhara himself on as a consultant to help improve the voice direction and check for translation errors

I see this said a lot but I think it's exaggerated. IMO the show does a pretty good job explaining itself. Don't forget, this aired on TV in 1997.
