Tbh, this boss feels more like a prehardmode fight more than anything. His attacks are basically designed around the player having no flight (despite being placed in early hardmode when the player just got their wings), and his attacks feel overly easy for this point as well. Unless this boss is designed around being fought right after WoF and not using any further gear, it doesn't seem like it had the right placement in progression at all. That being said, if it were to be moved to say, late pre-hardmode, I could imagine this fight working out pretty well. Even if a little rough in some aspects, it has enough attacks and overall variation in pattern to where it could make for a fun fight. However, putting it in hardmode (and possibly limiting the player's flight) was a poor call.
I miss the old vagrant of space and time back when you had to dodge the boss's attacks rather than being able to kill it already, i remember all those times i died to that version :(
The part where he traps you in a box where youre unable to jump is cool, but this looks like a prehardmode boss, might even say pre-eow. The the only actually challenging to dodge attack is the green planet one imo.
I was playing the stars above mod alongside mod of redemption and I was traveling to other planets and when I came by back to the homeworld all structures from the mod of redemption were deleted, alongside npcs. I'm not sure if it was because my pc is somewhat low end or if it has something to do with mod compatibility but overall I had to make another world. I still like stars above mod but I had to disable it so I didn't have to worry about it messing up mod of redemption.
I could use a part 2, been working on this boss. He seems to differ to the video, as im seeing a lack of "Random extra homing projectiles" which ruin his attack patterns making him very difficult as a pre-hard mode enemy (in current versions) There's very little content about this mod, so figured i'd ask. I've nearly beaten em a few times, but a lil guide like this would help!
@@tnemunom7704 third actually- iirc the second rework made it so you have to survive every attack the boss had until it died and it was invincible so you couldn't melt it
