In context of the film, there's Never Enough (where he rejects her publically) followed by This is Me (where she shoots him that death glare while she's dancing on the floor) and then this, which is the pseudo-make up song. It's his most overt attempt to win her over, which makes her rejection sting. It's why I hate when people say the movie was too clear-cut and simple. This romance actually had layers!

Peter Franks as a person with a disability, this movie is SUPER complicated and complex. Racism, classicism, discrimination. This movie wasn’t understood well at all.

@@Nazaba09 Too many people saw "Barnum" and immediately discounted it because it definitely painted a rosy picture of the reality of him. But yeah, this is a deep and deeply misunderstood movie.

Christopher Michael I don’t think we can judge if the movie painted a rosy picture or not. Hugh Jackman did many years of research on PT Barnum and this is the conclusion he came to-that he was an innovator and the original Elon musk. If we’re gonna get stuck on specifics, both Oskar Schindler and paul rusesbegina charged the people they saved from the holocaust, and the Rwandan genocide, respectively. Does that change your opinion of them that they basically saved people with money? It shouldn’t because guess what? It costs money to SUPPORT that many people you are trying to hide, and bribing the people to help keep quiet.

I'm sure you'll get to it soon enough, but check out the latest vid from Grace. She watches others covering her songs, and then the singers are shown reacting to Grace's reactions. That's probably pretty confusing, but it is so typically Grace, and her generosity towards the covering "artists" so sweet, you'll fall even more deeply in love with Grace.

This is indeed a beautiful song. I was introduced to it when Kendra Dantes did her cover of it. I strongly recommend that you watch her cover. It still moves me to tears.
