REX is coming - Guns are making there way to the game - Sucho art | The Isle Evrima 

The thing I'm looking forward to the most is the new map, but dibble will be good too!

I don't have a big problem with humans, but I think they should add more dinos before. The game needs more playables, mechanics and a new map + a much needed performance update. I think they should do these things first and then focus on humans. It sucks that they are using a big part of their resources to make humans instead of more important thing.

The isle is gonna be probably like one of those "survive in dinosaur world as dino or human" but multiplayer.

I definitely feel that The isle devs have aspirations for the game that are just too big. I know some unfortunate things happened a while ago that hampered the games development, but the game has been out for 8 Years. Almost a decade and they haven't finished the dinosaur portion of the game. Not to mention most people don't play the game because human factions will eventually be added, most people play the game because you can be some kick ass dinosaurs. I love the isle, but I think that adding humans and all the mechanics that go along with them will just be too much. 2 factions of humans (mercenarys and tribals i think), a mission system, the gun/bullet mechanics, vehicle mechanics, human/dino balancing and who knows what else which will have to go into this. If they can do this and intergrate the humans into the game in a way that doesn't ruin the experience of the dino players, then go for it, but if adding humans to the game ruins the experience for the people who play the game for the dinosaurs (like 90% of the player base) or if it takes another almost decade to complete the game, then I'm not so sure about adding the humans. There was even a lot of talk about one of the human factions being able to tame Dinosaurs and by dinosaurs, I assume they mean other players, essentially forcing the dino player to go along with the humans. Stuff like that will heavily discourage me from further playing the game if it ends up getting implemented without the option to play on servers without humans. Just the way the devs present the humans sometimes makes me very weary of what will be in store, but I am definitely looking forward to everything else. I want me a dibble. and if they can intergrate humans well enough then i'm looking foward to that too. I would like a horror experience every now and then.

i mean when they put the rex and the trike at the same time in the game i think this would be ok and make unoffcial Server more attraktive

The story has always been that you're trying to fix up the place. Fences, systems etc. The island has run wild and Hypers, Nueros etc are happening out of Apollo's control. This is why Gateway is such a needed thing. We currently have a single corner of Spiro showing any real human civilization and missing story elements.

actually I'm excited to see Humans finished and Vehicles added to the game Like an suv car dirt bikes or even A helicopter 😂

What made sucho so fun in legacy was that it was a brawler, slow but dominating for its size. I hope they don’t throw that away just for some extra utility

I feel like this update might have hope to release within like 4 months or so because they’ve already been working on dibble, dilo, and herra and stuff like that. Rex has been worked on for quite a long time to, but that’s *just what I think.*

honestly, they should add t-rex and triceratops at the same time instead of putting rex at the top before any competition

I doubt those rifle rounds will 1 shot most of the larger animals but I bet it would do some crazy bleed on them and make them think twice before engaging. Those bullets will definitely mess up if not outright kill most of the smaller animals with ease but I imagine you’d only be able to pop off one shot before you are swarmed by a lot of the smaller pack animals and torn to shreds because good luck hitting such a small and fast moving target. Playing as a human sounds both exciting and horrifying to be honest especially since you need to find the only thing able to protect you on the island.

I think some of the old tribal assets from a few years back are the way to go with the humans. Modern humans are just hard to make work because they would have a hard time getting ammo or would be eternal campers in buildings, which is both boring for all parties and the only way to really survive. But a tribal making bows and arrows is much easier to balance and play because a human could do it almost anywhere. Plus if you look at native american cultures they could have a stone tipped lance for attacking on horseback or even the back of compliant dinos, making them great support players

Don't know what the story is? Their is a whole Canon lore to this game and what the games trying to be is a horror survival game.

Humans is not just a game mode it's an entire game on top of another, it's too many mechanics and too many assets in a single game. It's going to have to be a separate game, it's impossible to have two or three games at the same time

I just really wish Bary came in update 7 or 7.5 it's model is too good

adding humans will be very interesting having basically glass cannons roaming around hunting things or maybe they'll help herbivores

If they make weapons like in Huntdown Showdown or Tarkov where you can't go trigger happy while you run and you have to give yourself your time when aiming and reloading and the maneuverability of the weapons is slow added to the fact that aiming with the iron sight does not have zoom I say it can be balanced

Hope this isle evrima is unique and is not like your typical Ark gameplay They gotta have a new taste to thier immersion and how the game is gonna play out. I'm sure its gonna be interesting to say the least.

I do think that adding humans is a very...fragile thing to do especially in The Isle. The game has been out for awhile now and still isn't even close to being finished, but humans need to follow some strict systems in order not to detract from the experience for dinos. I think having both humans and tribals would be too much to handle imo, and tbh tribals would probably make more sense balance/gameplay wise. Tribals could start of with simple weaponry like spears and whatnot, then eventually advance to bows/bolas/nets, and endgame could equipment like old flintlocks/muskets as it would allow for humans to attack, but not be too aggressive w/o risks. Honestly, I don't really see the need for humans tho

Luckily we can turn all the generic human shit off on community servers. Dinos and guns is just plain fucking cringe. A basic 7.62 round could one shot 75% of the dinos planned for the game
