I'm glad the Gaffed video was sooner rather than later! When you said you had something planned for them, i assumed it was gonna be closer to the release of the second album. If that's even half as good as the first, I'll be happy

9:29 “Decadent riff centipede” is an excellent way of describing their riffs. Also it’s really cool to see someone mention gaffed I’ve only ever seen one other youtuber bring them up jimmyfromtheblock.

Yeah I actually found out about them getting back together and putting out a new album from him his channel. Before that I just knew their demos through RU-vid, got into them really big because they're from the same part of New Jersey a lot of my family's from.

⁠@@radiofreeinnsmouth1337 that’s great! the ny/ni bom scene has non arguably the best bands in that genre. Gaffed is unique, sadly they don't get much recognition or appreciation.

Gonna wear my Gaffed shirt today just cuz you posted this. "Meal" is a top 10 demo for me, maybe top 5. Sewer vocals on par with the legendary Matt Duncan from Afterbirth. There are some really old school live videos of Gaffed floating around too, including some tracks that weren't on the demos, very worth finding. My only complaint on the comeback album is the generally plastic drum production, I hope they keep it more organic on the upcoming album. Still, you don't see comebacks that solid in DM very often at all, usually trifling shit.

I've thought about doing one but I feel like I need to get more familiar with their last two albums since they're kinda underrated. Forensic's my favorite of course. JimmyfromtheBlock's interview with them is really good. Johnny's newer band with one of the guys from Necrom, Sermon of Mockery, is pretty wacky too, plus their EP's got a song (and an album cover) about the Chris Benoit murders.

Excellent content as always. Have you seen this "Ian Foote" guy's resurfacing to the youtube realm? I hate to say it, but he's giving Kingcobra a run for his money. Dark Enlightenment hall-of-famer if I must opine.

Just for the record "blasphemy" had zero to do with gaffed ..rich played in a band with that name before ritual torment days ... 👍
