As a Homeowner, I purchased my Bio-Stimulant pack from the Lawn Care Nut about 2 months ago. I have laid down the Humic12, Air8 & RGS and my yard is absolutely popping off. Just did my second RGS app of the season before the rain her in Virginiaand my neighbors are so jealous from my first app back in early March. I have also been spoon feeding ever 10 days with about 1oz of RGS/1000sf and its giving me great results so far so good. Thanks John for a great product

Taking nothing from you, you’re a wealth of info, and I love your intellectual and deep structured approach, but I just listened to Pete from GCI describe your products and Daaaang, I turned around and immediately ordered the 4gal BioStim pack. RGS, AIR-8, Humic 12 and Greene Punch are killing it in my lawn. 🥊 ⛈ Now if this crazy weather will start acting normal and give me some Bermuda growing warmth, I’ll be able to recover from the winter kill.
How much did you apply... each one.... and how many days between did u put the product down .... Can u mix all three together and put it down at one time for new sod?????
Currently using organic sea kelp, but will be switching to RGS soon as I run out! Sadly I bought 5 gallons of organic sea kelp due to having 1.6 acres to tend to.
I picked up the "cousin of carbon x" today and a bag of carbon x from the lawncarenut. When applying according to their recommendations, is the equivalent of 3oz/1000 of RGS coming out of my spreader? The cousin of carbon x includes Air8, Dethatch, micro green and humic.
I plan to use the RGS, Humic 12, and pre-m dimension in the up coming weeks. I know RGS has Humic in it already but was was wondering if I can apply all 3 the same time? 20 gal sprayer/acre, 3 oz RGS, 3 oz Humic, 2 pints of Dimension. 90,000 sq/ft lawn. Fescue/bluegrass blend. Thanks
Just got 4500 sq ft of zenith zoysia sod installed three days ago. My first lawn. My landscaper recommended Greene County Fertilizer. Just purchased the GreeNePak to start spplying once the sod roots in. Now im wondering if i should pick up some RGS to start applying to encourage root growth while the sod is still fresh.
Bought you products last year from LCN but really didn’t use it because I’m a little confused about what to do first....got weeds and also Bermuda grass that I would love to get rid of....being January is there anything I need to do now....to get started are do I need to wait... I have not done anything with my lawn for a couple or year......I’m thinking of putting centipede grass in or Saint Augustine.... I live in Charleston,sc hopefully that helps

Also curious about your different nitrogen based fertilizers. I asked about Greene Effect because it is readily available, but after looking at your site, I see you have three options.
I put down the Green Effect with Micro Greene at the recommended rates. The density of the turf and rapid growth is amazing! My yard clearly stands out in a neighborhood with an HOA that requires a lawn service, so all the yards are treated with pre-emergent and well fertilized. Kind of ironic, when I bought the house 7 years ago, I chose this neighborhood because at the time I didn't like yard work. Things changed and it is now my passion! Thinking about selling the house and getting a place where I make my own rules. These Greene County products are amazing! Throw er Down and a couple weeks later you will be amazed with the results.
Kinda missing out? That is an understatement. In November I went and saw Mad Brad, he set me up with some RGS. I tested it on a few properties, I wish that I had used it on all of them.
Just bought RGS, Air8, D-Thatch, and Humic12. Pretty pumped about using these. Gonna pump all my grass full of RGS (Bermuda in front and back, tall fescue in back on other side), and hit it with some Air8 as well. Gonna wait for the D-Thatch later in the month to hit the front. How well does this work on sandy clay soils? Located in Chesapeake, VA.
What conditions or threshholds validate or warrant the higher application rates? What are the common results of the higher application rates under such conditions?
armando landa that’s a good question. You can go very high for remediation, if soils are just completely lacking in their ability to respond to fertilizer. Sometimes one high rate is enough to kick everything into gear on a severely damaged lawn.
For maximum results out of RGS for root development, is it better to use an adjuvant to maximize the foliar uptake or not use an adjuvant and let most of it be taken up by the soil? I know it can be used either way, but will it speed up or give better results to the process RGS undergoes to create these roots by using it in more of a foliar application rather than a soil drench? I'm asking specifically about RGS, as I know you would not want to do this with a product like Air-8. Thank yo sir, I'm here to learn the science. Love it, keep 'em coming!
Jason Grubb there’s no problem with using and adjuvant. I don’t typically use them and for many DIY people, they wouldn’t either. RGS has some natural surfacting ability on its own, but the addition of one could impact the foliar portion positively.
I've just become a Lawn Nut and your products seem awesome so I'm taking the time to learn about them. You seem to have so many great products but the dilemma is where do I start, with what products. What goes down first? second? third? Can I put down 2 products at once? My concerns are building a strong turf thick and full with that pop of green. What are your recomendations?
You really can't mess up with these products. Go get the "BioStimulant Pack" from Lawn Care Nut or GCI Turf Academy. The pack will come with some recommended app rates. Honestly though you could mix the whole lot into a soupy mess and spray it in with some water and your lawn will look great.
I have a question. When it says "Do not apply with less than a 7:1 dilution with water". Does that mean if I use 4 oz of a product, that I need a minimum of 28 oz of water? 4x7=28 1 part=4 - 7 part=28
HD MOVIE SOURCE yes, that a general safety minimum. Most people are applying at a weaker dilution than that. Application through a backpack at 1 gallon per thousand is 42:1, apps through spray carts are usually 11:1 and spray rigs are as much as 200:1
I used a similar product in the past and people keep asking what I do to make my garden produce like mad. Its because I used Fish fertilizer and Kelp with added Humic, Fulvic, Sullfur and other sea minerals from the ocean. I have also used worm castings to make a tea and applied as a foliar is awful effective to kill bugs LOL.. Where can a consumer buy your product?
Been part of the lawn care nut group for quite a while looking to advance to some RGS and humic 12 I have a backpack sprayer on a 5000 square foot lawn but would like to use a older yellow and red Ortho dial n spray what setting you recommend I use for your products thank you for your time
RGS is a 2:1:1 balance of humic fulvic and kelp. You get both a foliar and soil integration, plant growth hormones from the kelp, and essential get a full boost to the overall leaf, stem, root, soil system. Humic in its own will go to work in the soil but is best when combined with other nutrients or amendments to work as a turbocharger essentially. So it all depends what you are going for.
Just put my lawn to sleep with some RGS - 4oz/1K. John is it ok to spray Green Effect late into the fall season (late November) in the DC area? I want to keep my lawn green for as long as it can.
Quick question as a RU-vidr is putting this on monthly at the 3oz per 1k but the directions for both RGS/HUMIC12 states twice a year preferably Spring and Fall. Is it okay to use more than directed as a home owner?

haha! that perfectly describes how i feel allot of the time. And yes, these products can be applied to all bedding material. you will se more vibrant growth and greater blooming.
Well, I have my order into GCI for my starter pack. Can't wait to try the program this year. I have to say I've thought of trying similar products like Holganix and SumaGreen before. They've always been tricky to find and not a lot of online info about them. You've done a good job bringing your products to a wider market so homeowners can learn about them and buy them.
It says on the package to not apply when temps are over 85 degrees but then I have heard from not just you that you can apply this at any time. So why does the package state those temps?
+mcrn12 great question. The temp warning is for this reason: mix medium and over application. If you follow the tank mixing guidelines and put out a good measure of water, there is nothing to fear in high temps. If using very low volume, it could be different. Kemp increases the sell division of the plant due to its phytohormones, it’s bes to apply when cooler so as not to force growth during potentially stressful times.
Kayaddict same final rate, but you’d have some time to get it there. Figure on a gallon lasting in a tank about a month depending on what kind you have.
I have an ez-flo. I fertilize 1 acre with it and refill once per month. So it sounds like I would simply use 1 gallon of RGS per application which would naturally be spread over the course of that month.
Additionally I have some areas with extremely poor soil. These areas were filled in with dirt/rocks from deep underground when they dug a pond on our property. Would there be any benefit or disadvantage to higher application rates?
Todd Edwards multi foot deep roots are not hard if that’s what you’re going for. Running a lawn program that simultaneously drives roots and provides beautiful color for 8 weeks is never put through paces in university trials. I often show off the root mass of my own lawn, (KBG) but after all theses years growing Floritam in Florida, we consistently have double the root mass of anyone else. It’s pretty fun. Michael Lindell of course! They play nice. The one suggestion I would make is that you do it, use a hose end sprayer so that there is more volume of water for greater dispersion.
Lawncology so you wouldnt recommend a tank sprayer? Asking because I wasn't sure if the liquids would be too thick. I actually think a hose end would help spread faster.
I wish there was more you can do for us little guys when I first heard about you 4 months ago I checked out your website but there was no way to order.. So I ordering some humic acid from root riot. I would love to try out your air 8 also.. I don't want to order a gallon from the lawn care nut that's just too expensive and would last me for years and years.. hopefully you can do something for the people that have a 1000 Sq feet Lawns or less sometime in the future and cut out the middleman.
Mike Dauth That would be great, our issue is that our Plant is really set up for bulk. We’ve been selling in the pro turf market for a long time. The homeowner packs are new this year, and we had to dedicate a section of our facility for that market. Hopefully we will be able to get that to you in the near future

My lawn is so gay right now. It knows rains coming Saturday and it has some RGS and AIR-8 in the backpack sproven it’s about to eat dessert. It had its Big Mac today
I will never try anything high end and expensive that is not proven to work. And I’m sure I’m not the only one that wants to see side by side results of products. For example take this RGS and any other of your products and next to it put down some generic Walmart or Lowe’s products. Lets see if there’s a difference after a month or two.
The rgs isn’t a fertilizer and we’ve run it in university trials with conventional fert. Definitely not a “high end” product. One gallon treats an acre.
@@Lawncology Even more reason to do a side by side evaluation with generic store brands. Think of how many septics like me you could convince to believe in these products.
@@Lawncology I use Walmart and Home Depot products. My Bermuda lawn is near perfect. I have proven to all my friends and neighbors that Scotts and other name brand expensive products do the same exact thing as generics. But I’m always looking for ways to use less product and water so I continue to research. Without side by side comparison all us RU-vid yard fanatics do is get confused with everyone pushing so many different products without any visual proof. I don’t understand why every time I suggest to someone with a RU-vid channel to do a side by side comparison there’s always push back.
@@tomdurkins I don’t either. It’s not hard to do. Some of the stuff would be difficult to show on camera, but I’ll tell you that if you run your Walmart fert and rgs twice a year at 3 ounces, you’ll have a major difference in root growth and stress abatement.
