The Attacks of 26-11 and Veerappan as well. These films are enough for him to be remembered by future generations. Even if 99 are bad films and 1 is a classic, the director gets remembered for the 1 and not criticised for the 99. That’s the case of RGV. His bads are more in number and much worse but his best ones inspire people like Danny Boyle to make an oscar winning film like Slumdog.
@@abhishekbanerjee1168 Naa bro. The VT station scene shootout still gives me goosebumps. The thing is those were about antagonists so they are less talked about. I’m talking about the direction here. The direction and execution level is like the same old RGV so those two can also be considered in his hindi films list but films like Satya 2 or the recent Mia Malkova short film were not required. He has been experimenting lately.
@@kshitizkapil I am not saying.... Veerappan and 26/11 were bad films.... They were good... Direction is also good.... But.. If you see satya, shiva and company than.... These two films will be seem medicore to u...... As my all time fav film of rgv is satya.... The film that changed the way.... The audience look into bollywood....
@@VS-yb1kg karan is nowhere close to rgv in terms of movie making or directing to rgv ... yes karan johar is richer and knows how to spend unnecessarily...
I Think if everybody made same movies then it would be like eating Daal Bhaath every day, We need variety either you are America, European, Desi, Korean, Japanese, Nigerian, etc as you should get my point. Just as ask Russell Peters where he will explain very very well. Shalom
It's awesome what you shared here. Every time I see "sathya " I get the same feeling as I felt when I saw it first time .this one film is enough to say what RGV capacity and of course the remaining every single member of crew effort is mind blowing.👍🏼👏🏼
Satya is an unforgettable movie. The movie which made me a die hard fan of RGV even though I loved his direction right from the time he directed Shiva (1989). To this day, I watch his movies no matter how shit they're just with a hope that this time he gives a good movie. He made few good films from 2014 to early 2016, I thought RGV's back but then again his bad movies continued.
As Ramu said, nobody knows to make successful movies, it is people who decide director’s view point. RGV makes movies that excites him, most of the times, his interest and excitement may not connect to larger number of audience, but he shows same passion in every movie irrespective of outcome. He is gem of a personality way ahead of general people, I like him as a person and his thoughts towards like more than his movies. Movie maker career last until he is successful but RGV influenced many lives in recent past especially.
I just watched the movie satya for the very first time. Truly a master piece. Great acting by each and every character. Everyone looked very natural. Background music gives you the thrills. Such a simple movie yet so captivating. Life has its way to teach you things, how survival can make you do things. Thank you for this Movie.
When there is no Melodrama in the film it can resonanate with u even after decades... Whilst it u watch any typical 90s Bollywood hit now, u wl cringe to death
Every director in tollywood Telugu industry are either introduced by rgv or they were inspired after watching Shiva kshenak kshenam rangeela satya etc even SS rajamouli is a fan of rgv.. And he gave big brake to many new actors
J D Chakravarthy's acting and eye language was of the level of Kamal Haasan and must have been given the recognition for his performance and style of acting.
Tyrion Lannister I won't compare. Tarantino makes loud movies, filled with heroic moments and zero sense of reality. Satya was more in line with realistic Scorsese movies.
Top Notch, once in a millennium kinda movie. The best Bollywood can ever offer and come up with. Great and spectacular performance by everyone. Background score by Sandeep Chowta is the icing on the cake. The Best Gangster flick of all time. Big kudos to RGV.
this Movies impact peoples personality and the answer is yes if you watch Satya and its changed my life in a way to understand the difference between good and bad in the society and how people react and follows, and obvious i,m one of them, none other than Satya
The background score, music, dialogues and performances in this movie was a benchmark. Its sad that Manoj Bajpai was not nominated in the Best Actor category. Not surprisingly, SRK and Salman Khan won Best Actor and supporting actor that year for KKHH and Karan Johar Best Director. Manoj gave his career best performance and so did Saurabh, Shefali and the others. Thank you RGV and Anurag for this gem.
Hats off to manoj.. jd Chakraborty...urmila...varma... Anurag...shukla..rawal... Shefali...aaj kapoor...Sushant..markhand..Aditya...i think that songs was unnecessary.. except sapne me...any a masterpiece... hat's off' to everyone involved
gr8 gr8 movie....real underworld ...threatening ...the way rgv put under all the casts & made them act in a real way...hats off ramu sir.... evan small smal obeservations and dialogues...just "gatar ke bahar chodke nahi aaneka pahile jaisa."..thts was really scary & threatening
they are saying that box office response was slow...but I remember ..i was studying in nasik , myself and my friends didn't know about the film . We saw TOI review giving the film five star ratings, we went to Mamta theater ..it was already house full on first Sunday itself .
This film is once in Life time Film, Superb Acting, Background Music specially Sandip chowta which gave altogether a different Height to this film, Above All Bhikhu Mahatrre and Ramu, Superb film, Cult film, My favourite All time, Thanku Ramu n Team Satya
The movie proves that when actors who work not for money, forget where they are and if at all they are acting, lyrics come from one man whose tranquility seems like still water of the bottom of an ocean, a background music that stops the heart beating, Satya will happen. I suppose destiny had it written that Satya will come and conquer. I believe another Satya will never be made. Lets just preserve the prints somewhere so that 100s of years from now someone somewhere will drop a tear while watching it once again !
She was not the first choice for the movie...Mahima Chaudhary was the heroine and she was replaced after 2 scheduled with Urmila Matondkar. She and Shefali Shetty was the oasis in this saga.
