The final run of the day had visiting loco Sian and Black Prince on the front, Southern Maid sandwiched in the middle and Dr Syn with Samson on the back. Defiantly quite unique...
For those wondering why the train had to stop on the final run of the day, apparently the front vacuum pipe of Black Prince was slightly too short to fit to the rear pipe on Sian's tender properly, so as it rounded the tight bend near Hythe, the pipe was pulled off. It happens to the best of us, and they sorted it out pretty quickly so no one minded.
