About this remix:
I grew up with Nightmare Before Christmas, and to this day I still go back to its songs from time to time. So when the halloween collab came around, I just had to make a remix of "This is Halloween." Using Marilyn Manson's cover (included in the Nightmare Revisited album), I put in as many allusions as I could, not just to the lyrics, but to the entire original sequence from the film. All while trying to create a challenging, but fair remix with a specific difficulty ramp, unhinged but not totally random, with tons of games yet still utilizing each as much as possible and keeping to the song's character and form.
Speaking of, following the song form for this remix was... an ordeal, to say the least. But totally worth it in the end. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. Happy Halloween!
