@@lumbeeman01 '85-'89 southeastern territories. That's when and where I started and ended watching wrestling. Looking back with perspective, I understand why.
I do appreciate Ric Flair "owning" his past. In order to move forward and change is to acknowledge the mistakes you made. We all wanted to be Ric Flair when we were growing up. When I threw a strike-out I did the Ric Flair "woo!" afterward. I have a buddy who still does the Ric Flair "woo!" and we are both closing in on 50. Here he is at this point in his career and a part of me still wants to be Ric Flair, but this version of him. Woo!
Met him in real life & he was a douche bag. But so was Rick Flair & Shawn Michaels. I have met over 100 wrestlers back in the 1980's & those were the only 3 that were real douche bags to me. All the others were really cool. Some more than others.
anyone can wear a cross around their neck. However Jesus said, you shall know them by their fruits. The bible says, follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the LORD! Pray for Ric Flair's salvation!
Younger people are more secular today, so I'm not surprised that current wrestlers are typically not religious. AJ Styles and the Young Bucks are exceptions, though. And Gunner, of course.
@Vince Smith he even said Luger's character was off Batman, he didn't know it was a play off Superman and Lex Luxor was a Superman villain. Ugh, he is so out of touch. I'm a Christian too, but so many Christians, especially older ones, don't know a thing about pop culture.
Ricky sitting there saying don’t say it man don’t fucking say my name c’mon man then Tully looks into the camera and says Ricky Morton did this with Me ! And Ricky’s wife said “WTF!?” Oh man I almost croaked laughing
That’s not gunna fly with Jesus Rick … you are older now, and time isn’t on your side . We all gotta repent and turn … or face the consequences. Most of what you are a legend for is the reprobate unGodly life you were living . Legend of the world … but time is fleeting here … the next place is forever… Lay your treasures up there .
@@siddharthsharma6171 it’s not your buddies place to get involved. That’s a conversation to have with your wife if you want to be honest or she investigates and finds out. A friend should not drag you into their mess.
I read somewhere where the Barry "line-up" was considered the "best". By who, I don't know, but I agree with you, when I think of the Horseman, Ole comes to my mind way before Barry, or Lex or Sting or Pillman or Sid or....
@@markcloer2274 Exactly... The classic lineup of the 4 Horsemen as follows: Ric Flair Tully Blanchard (usually with Baby Doll) Minnesota Wrecking Crew (Ole & Arn) James J. Dillon (Manager/Advocate) That's it... Sorry Barry, Sting, Sid and don't even mention Paul Roma.
I loved the horsemen with sid and windham. I don't know why Tully doing that is a big deal. EVERY ONE OF YOU WRESTLERS MAKE A LIVING NOW SNITCHING EACH OTHER OUT ON PODCASTS!
How do you throw your running partners to the wolves? Confessing your transgressions is one thing. But don't put your partners' business out there. They have to choose to decide that.
@@jaydisqus3353 Tully wasn't a televangelists. No one accused Tully of being a scammer. So no. It's not in the title. Politicians are among the biggest scammers in this country. Wow. NOTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING TULLY BLANCHARD SAID
Come on, Naitch. You said Tully didn't have to mention anyone else but you have written books mentioning what you were doing and who with so what is the difference? Tully said it on a television program almost no one watches and it's not like it was any secret what he said. I think it is is also wrong to imply Ricky's divorce was Tully's fault. You should correct that. Not mentioning others has never kept you from writing books and trust me more people have read your books than has ever seen the 700 Club.
A decent man should never reveal what somebody else did if they engaged in the activity under the assumed collective idea of confidentiality, even if that means he will spend time in jail by not revealing things done under the "code". Having said that, the flip side is that a man should always expect any of his actions or deeds to be revealed, regardless of the expectation of privacy. Moral of the story, don't do anything that you don't want to have to answer for somewhere down the road, because more than likely, you probably will have to. Naturally, things such as doctor/patient relationships, lawyer confidentiality, things done in the bedroom, etc have an expectation of privacy both legally and morally, but outside of those parameters and a few others, don't do anything unless you're prepared to answer for it or for it to become common knowledge in the future.
I Truly wish he would. Before his health scare, I got to meet Ric, and asked him if he was Saved. He told me Wendy , his now ex , saved him. Afraid that's Not how it works, Ric.
@@shaunclifton5281 don't scare me like that. Ric needs Wendy in his life. Did read that they had split up and gotten back together this year. Hope Ric realizes how much he needs her at this point in his life. Make her your "10,000 Lovers in One"
Man one thing I hate to be is a former wrestler because with all these wrestling podcast there telling on everyone I hate to be one of there wife’s listening to these lol
I agree with ric on this I'm proud of Tully for turning his life to christ but why bring others that could be hurt by it Tully should tell About what God did and is doing in his own life and let arn and Ricky deal with their on affairs in life don't through some one else's sin in blame for what you were doing again Tully is a good man but he doesn't have the right to drag someone else in on something you willfully done so I agree with ric flair on this
One of the biggest issues with a certain type of born again is they were assholes before, and their conversion gives them cover to be assholes going forward. It’s their personality type rather than the religion and unfortunately what you end up with is a perpetual jerk who makes bad choices looking for spiritual cover and finding it. Life is hard. Due respect to Tully, Lex, or Shawn Michaels religion doesn’t erase who you are or what you’ve done now. Lex at the very least seems to have done it the right way. Tully needed to understand and probably still didn’t seem to understand his actions affected more people than himself.
Tully is just fine. Aren’t those guys grownups? Can’t they handle their own past? It’s not like nobody ever saw a bunch of drunk wrestlers in a bar in any town USA! Tully, Lex, Sting, AJ Styles, Shawn, and more have given their lives to Jesus!
Appears Tully deserved to of bought 1 of them free condos at PTL club from Jim & Tammy Bakker as a God given paybacks. Do others as you want to be done.
I've done prison ministry with Tully for over 20 years. He is one of the greatest guys I know. He truly loves the Lord and wants everyone else to have the joy of knowing him too.
I saw Arn and Tully in an interview in which Tully reverted back to his wild days as a horseman and I was shocked at Tully’s usage of “crap” and “sh*t”. He’s a Christian? Really?
People shouldn't keep their mouths shut about you, it's for your own better. You're risking your own health and betraying someone who put their trust in you. If you can't speak the truth then someone else needs to do it for you.
I'm guessing Conrad's wife eithier limets or supervises Conrad's time with her dear old Dad. Unless she figures she's a special case and her Dad is going to look out for her.
I can agree with Flair on some not all things.Tully is a great man and was just making the direct point that influence decided his decisions.Influence doesn't mean you have to be forced or asked to do something.Further more,Ricky Morton of all people is a cosmetic disaster to begin with.He still to this day tries to make himself look overrated and the over achiever when in fact he didn't impress me.Morton is a big mouth that should just stay away from the industry of wrestling
Bingo, I bet his wife knew. What she didn’t like was it being aired out to the world and having to save face with the gossip from her friends and family.
