Riccar R25P Upright Vacuum Cleaner 

I've had the pet model for about two weeks and it is a beast picking up cat litter. I was going to get a Sebo until it didn't pick up the sample cat litter I brought from home. All because it picks up the store's "dirt" doesn't mean it will work on your specific type of dirt. I especially like the "amber light" that tells you it needs another go in that particular spot until the light turns white again. I take off all the "on board" things that, in my opinion, just add unneeded weight to an already heavy machine. It runs very smooth and gets all the cat hair, litter, etc. that my kitty can throw at it. I had a Miele canister for many years and was just tired of dragging it around after me. Very happy with this purchase.

We have bought vacuums from Big-box stores throughout the years/decades and nothing has ever impressed me. We would always end up with broken, noisy, cheap, unrepairable products that could not capture its air contaminants properly without spewing/leaking that nasty smelling allergic contaminated air into our household. I was so tired of this forever merry-go-round junk so I finally made a call to a House of Vacuums, spoke to Corey and finally decided to do something about our problem! We bought a Riccar 25P (long lasting) , is actually repairable where parts are available, has 360 degree maneuverability, is excellent with both hardwood flooring and various carpet heights, an excellent onboard long reach hose with attachments and would have outstanding performance all the while maintaining that certified Hepa cleaning we never got with the cheap units. Not only did Riccar put some great Engineering into their vacuum but it also looks very elegant. Thank you everyone at Riccar for putting quality and style at the top of your list and manufacturing your products in America.
