Norman Lear turned 100 last year. One. Hundred. And Mel and Dick are both just a few years behind him. And they're all still working!

Richard Kind's many appearances on Gilbert Gottfried's podcast were some of the funniest, laugh out loud experiences that you could ever hear. He has so many great show business stories and he just loves to share them all. He is so clearly a good person and he so clearly loved Gilbert and making Gilbert laugh. Wonderful stuff!

The most valuable thing in the arts is someone who is talented and also able to pass on their experience and wisdom in an encouraging and kind way. I hope there are a lot of genuine and nice people in that industry though we don't always know who they are

I met Richard Kind once. We and a few other people were at a lunch some years ago following the presentation of an award, posthumously, to a mutual friend. The friend was not famous. Richard did not have to be there. It was out of his way. But he came. He was a mensch; funny without being overbearing; a lovely man. ❤

Wondered if compass app would lead to cicadas. Have you seen cicada - killer wasps that don't bother people but prey on cicadas? Once saw one ride a cicada down like a bulldogger on a steer. Signs were added at a dog park telling us not to fret. Mostly I saw canine digging enthusiasts pestering ground nesting / pupation areas.
