Despite some of the more groan worthy references in the ABC:s of Beth, I actually find it to be one of the better episodes. Beth realises how similar she is to Rick, she loses some of the idolisation of Rick, Beth’s best arc is started with the clone, and we see Rick’s actual real underlying cause of depression that isn’t related to Rick prime, or his wife’s murder. Rick feels that nothing truly matters, and on a deeper level he knows that he won’t gain true happiness by killing Rick Prime. The Froopy Land arc is amazing, as well. It shows how unhinged Beth is, and it’s just straight up hilarious.

Which, im usually not a fan of the "oh man he's autistic so he's a genius" stereotype, but I make an exception for this show, because Rick is kinda dumb sometimes. He gets obsessed with things randomly. I mean, I genuinely think it informs his character, but its not in your face, which makes it fantastic.

@@Al7249 ya there are some pretty damn good episodes especially in the later seasons. Personally I think the more gross out ones are the worst quality ones, like the incest baby among others. Though the recent one with spaghetti was a good exploration of how we consume meat and capitalism.
