The #1 slow jam of the 80’s, from the hottest album of 1981, Rick James “ Street Songs” , I was 20 when it came out, this whole album was the soundtrack of every young African American that year , it was blazing hot on the radio stations, the boom boxes , car stereos, and of course in the clubs! Good memories from a 60 year old Old Schooler , this is how we did it all day! Enjoy and hope your generation make new slow jams like this and slow dance again!

To us X Generation it was the MAGIC TIME PERIOD OF REAL MUSIC. I just hate they changed everything from the disco era up to the 90s and turned everything into dirty rap music and singing under people's clothes and violence. Prior to that mess we had happy, beautiful, soulful, sensual, romantic and fun music. And they took it all away in the 1990s and I have no idea why they decide to make everything about what's under people's clothes.

They did another song together called "Happy"..that's amazing as well. Alot of people like it better than "Fire and Desire"..but there was not alot of push for that record and it was just as good in my opinion
