I’ve always thought that was a stupid thing to brag about. First of all, is it really hard to fake that shit? No, it’s not. Write a bunch of shit down & memorize it ahead of time & make it look like you came up with it that fast & never wrote it down. Yeah, sure. But more importantly, if that was his process, there is no way he couldn’t have come up with better shit if he took time to write it down & spend more time on that. He knows that & so does everyone else so I find it very hard to believe that he would forgo a process that would ultimately produce a better song just for the fact that song is going to be played & judged by everyone forever, especially in the rap game where the bragging & boasting is so prevalent. So yeah. So crazy that otherwise intelligent people fall for and propagate that nonsense.
