The RicVac combines a vacuum and hair clippers to make cutting hair or grooming animals easier.
The RicVac combines a vacuum cleaner with hair clippers, resulting in hair being vacuumed up as soon as it is cut, rather than falling on the floor.

Coleman Armstrong here. We recently moved. Found a great barber who uses a vacuum attachment on the clippers. No hair to brush, wipe, blow or vacuum off me. I use the same brand of clippers when grooming our pair of standard poodles. Hair would go everywhere until I ordered, received and installed the RicVac components (very easy installation). NO MORE HAIR EVERYWHERE! The hose is very flexible and the swivel on the attachment provides free movement of the clippers (a must when trimming our furry pals). THANKS for your efforts to provide a great product.

I am looking for the vacuum with out the attachments . Just need unit with the hose for cleanup after the haircut as I do a lot of texturizing with many types of shears , but need a powerful vac for after cut cleanup .

How can I get on me of those Are use a vacuum housing over my clippers but I have to tape them around to keep them held in how can I use one like you wear it looks like it’s bolted in almost

These prices for these items are outrageous. You can get a 8 foot hose from walh or any hose supply place company for less than 10 bucks and a Wahl vac Clipper cover is only about twenty bucks. if you pay 150 bucks for one of these you're crazy. Not trying to knock these people's product because they probably got many years and money tied up as an investment to make these things, but it's a lot easier if you just buy a cannister vacuum and all you need to do is buy the hose and you can get the adapter fittings for the hoses at Lowe's

I heard this guy gave his design away to a dog company. too bad he didn’t sell some units to the public. now this dog company will make you spend 2 grand just to buy a unit now.

Back in the 90's I used a vac system which was already about 10 years old, and had an attachment that fit my Oster Golden A-5's... Today, I use a Hanvey TaxiVac Max 10 with a Laube IVac clipper, both of which I have owned for over 10 years. 20 years ago, I worked at a dog salon that had a Romani ClipperVac system. Laube also has their iVac system, so, this has been around for quite some time, though the designs have changed and improved. The pet grooming industry utilizes this technology all over the world. For the 12 gallon Hanvey 2 station model, it runs about $1500.00. A smaller single station unit, you can get for around $700.00.

I use the Laube 851 ivac clippers. The attachment I have for my oster clippers I bought from Hanvey engineering. My Laube clippers do a great job, I own several different pair and models of Laube, they are my favorite brand. I prefer the hose to come off the end of the clipper instead near the head of the clipper.

Yes, the detachable blades fit. I even use furzone wide blades and combs on mine.
