Synopsis:
Vin Diesel reprises his role as the antihero Riddick in the latest chapter of the groundbreaking saga. A dangerous, escaped convict wanted by every bounty hunter in the known galaxy, Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered. The only way off is for him to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty. With time running out and a deadly storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won’t leave the planet without Riddick’s head as their trophy. No, I don't think he was scared I think he was tired of all "The Running" or people that he saved over the years, Then people he saved will "Break Their Deal" and call the police or another bounty hunter and tell them that Riddick has our spaceship on this current planet. So He Has To Run Away Again so that he won't get caught since he has (guessing) A 15.50 billion contact on his head since he's an excaped convict also murder. These people however were "Truly honored" that Riddick helped them get off P. O. S. planet sence he did that they all agreed we can't leave this P. O. S. planet without rescuing or getting Riddick.

Dude, I'm just as much of a girlkisser as Dahl, but I am right there with her in the asking sweetlike. It is just the bad writing that gives a cardboard cutout version of a strong woman. Usually because its written by some executive who doesn't know what Hu-mans even are outside country clubs.

vin diesel was the primary bank roll for the last two riddick movies, although he loves doing them and many of us love watching they're unfortunately not very popular in the box office and end up losing money in almost every market they releas to add to that vin being busy with all the fast and retarded movies.... yeah

While the movie can be rather dark sometimes(a fair critic), me personally, I'm kinda fine with how Riddick looks. For one, I can still see the important parts of a really dark scene(action, character moments, etc.), at least for the most part, and when it happens I'm looking in the dark trying to find something, a hidden enemy, an ester egg, maybe even Riddick himself. And sometimes the darkness can be used cleverly like in 06:06, it can be used to mask the horde of monsters shambling over and sometimes even being illuminated by the white hot phosphorous rock only for the horde to be fully shown by the lightning from the storm, showing just how completely out numbered our boi Riddick is! And hey, at least its not AVP2:Requiem.

@@Telados he shoved that burning rock right in the wound and kept it there for 30 seconds, so it cauterized the outside and most of the inside as well, most would die from the pain or pass out before it had any effect, what he did is the last resort TO BUY A FEW MORE MINUTES, and it worked, his bleeding was seriously reduced so he could fight on adrenalin, which is useless if you bleed out

Pitch Black is a really good sci-fi horror film that covers a pretty underrated sci-fi universe. Chronicles of Riddick is a expansion of the series that brings a rather interesting and complex faction within the Riddick universe. It also expands a little on Riddick’s origins and sets stage for the games “Escape From Butcher Bay” and “Assault on Dark Athena”. This movie draws homage from Pitch Black and it’s the follow up from Chronicles of Riddick. Personally I like the movies, there should be more gritty sci-fi movies like this series.
