Many thanks Doug! Following you and Stoney closely on the Parkway ride! Like the rest of my North-East Coast chums, many thanks also for the shout-out on all the road numbers as you ride. I follow you all (at a distance!) on Google Street Map! Don't let that tear-away Stoney bloke encourage you to take those corner too fast! 45-50 MPH is plenty fast enough!...LOL...! Take care both!
Let me tell you of my adventure on the BRP. Five days of rain and when we were on the top of the mountain there was a hale storm. But we still had a great time.
Sounds like some good times!! Wish I could ride in those beautiful mountains in the South; I've lived in SC, NC, GA, TN, AL and FL so I know how pretty it is there.
Thanks for watching and these mountains are wonderful. I'd like to ride through the SoCal deserts up the middle of the into the Sierra Nevada mountains. I've driven from LA to Mammoth Lakes many times, but would love to ride it on a motorcycle. Ride safe.
Very nice video, thanks, I have been looking at some of you're videos while my bike is at the dealership and waiting for a small back-ordered part and it is helping my moral while waiting. Thanks again for your good work
thank you Ramblin Man for that magnificent ride ! that makes me dream of riding down south from quebec and look at that beautiful landscape in person :-)
What's wrong with taking curves at 80mph? haha I know it isn't for everyone...nor should it be. It's nice that you leave room between one another so the 80mph corner carvers can get around you. What's the battery life like on your Sony?
I was thinking of you and your Ducati when I made that comment. Somehow I think your bike is a little more suited for that than mine. The battery will last for just over an hour of continuous recording at 1080p/60 fps. I am usually cutting it on and off during a ride so it varies for me. I carry a spare battery with me, but the live view remote usually runs out of gas before the 2nd battery.
I like how you vlog across multiple segments. Keeps the scenery different. The GoPro is no better, if not worse...we need some better battery technology! I do try to be respectful behind other riders and wait for them to waive me by but if they don't after a pass on a road that would've been good for doing so, I start picking folks off if there's room. If not, I wait for a long straight...I just hate to surprise the crap out of people b/c a bike passing you at 80+ makes a lot of noise very suddenly.
This was the same week I went but you guys beat me up there by a few days. I went that thursday by way of Greensboro, NC. Came back the same day as I have small children lol.
Just subbed....form NC Stoney channel, I sub to all these guys here from that area and up east coast. 2 weeks ago Stoney on business came to New Orleans, we meet up with another vlogger faith biker, hurricane Nate was approaching that nite, had a great lunch and conversation, what a nice guy. going to have to catch up on your vlogs. faith biker has a video with us in it, was cut short because weather was getting bad.
