okay that is one of the coolest mods ive seen, definitely agree though this should be a $30-35 mod at most. i think as a viewer angle its certainly unique, ive never understood the camera facing the person on motovlogs cause outside of arm movements you cant see a person talking, so this is kind of the best of both worlds where we can see you articulating and still enjoy what youre seeing as well. but for the blindspot security i actually love that as rider. the fact you can see back under /around your arms really eliminates any possible angle you could miss with a quick head turn. excellent video as always, apologies for responding so long, i was typing as i was watching haha!

I used to have a similar mirror years ago in a sports car. It worked well. No windshield on my Ryker yet but I will consider this mirror. Thanks for demonstrating it.

Another awesome video. I think what this mirror offers far outweighed any negative at least for me. I sometimes feel that I move my head just to check my bar end mirrors. I'm loving the idea that I'm looking forward and know what's around me. Hey did you find snug enough cuffs ? These didn't seem to suck up to your elbow. Hi Beth, I’ve had a riderscan installed for a while now and think it is a great bit of kit. It is the same price in pounds here but worth it.

Good quick review. I've seen other YT videos of who people who used that device on their two and three wheel motos and they were on the road moving in traffic. It's 100% a safety thing and I like it. Good buy. And good-bye. :)

I just pulled my Ryker out of the garage today here in Cape Breton, NS. I also saw a lot of bikers passing my place as I replaced one mirror I had broke off on my Ryker. I'm curius about this particular mirror, Just cause of the broad view it provides. I feel sometime I tilt forward just to check my blind spot in my mirrors ( I should be turning my head). But thanks for the review. I appreciate it.

ive been looking for different mirrors for when i pull a trailer with my 2016 rt , this looks like it might work so i just ordered one . thanks.

Well after 1 month 1/2 i received my rear view mirrow and already installed it but had fo buy a special glue to support it better. So hopefully i will tested next week but its very goid and tou can see everything around you and specially if someone comes behind you close to you.

I’m glad you did the riderscan. I’ve been trying to figure out if this or sling mods mirror that fit on the Ryker mirrors would be better. There is a cheaper version of the scan but it’d held on by a suction cup. Many people have said the cup would not hold.

I've seen them in trucks, never on bikes. That's a pretty good idea.....gives you a lot more of a constant rear view. If you tire of it, there's 60 dollar action cams at walmart ...not the greatest quality, but good back up cams. :) Cheers !! Have an awesome week !! :) :)

I have had two of them for about 6 years and 5 bikes. I got mine from England before Amazon with the postage they came to about $80 USD. I love them. If you look close you can even see in front of you. One is now on my 2020 SpYder RTL the other is on my 2019 Harley Lowrider. IMHO, you may find a cheaper (knockoff) but you won't find a better one. Ride Safe.

I like your view. I am here to see what you see, not to see the person talking. Quick question @Ryker Rydes are those the new handle bars? I am thinking about getting higher up ones. I do like the scanner, I have tried to adjust my mirrors to get a little bit of what is behind me but obviously I want more to what is next to me. I am always turning my head. Habit from being a cyclist. Love your content

I prefer this setup with the new mirror rather than a extra camera with a split screen and to add to that the mirror will greatly add to your view of what is going around you. Others may be cheaper but so far this the best one that I have seen and it is the one I plan to get. The only thing that bothered me is the mirror is to the right and not centered, this would drive me crazy! I am sure it is from the way you temporarily mounted it and I am so OCD with some things LOL!

There are a zillion mods you can do on your Ryker, great product.

Well, it would take a broomstick to have that thing mounted around my collarbone area like we see here.

I like it. I would move it up 2 or 3 inchs.

I think it's a great looking product. It looks like it's works for you to see better behind you. But I think it's over priced but many things are these days.

Do you think installing it a little higher would increase the visibility for the parts where the arms are blocking the view?

I think it distorts distances like the message “objects are closer than they seem”. And if the sun reflected in it what would happen?

Would you recommend it to completely REPLACE side mirrors?? What about at highway speeds?

Is this recommendable during night ride? Will the high beam of cars behind you distract your vision? Thanks for replying!

I know this video is a lot older but I've noticed you don't have that mirror anymore on your setup that you have now. Is there a reason why? We bought this for my wife a few years back and still have not added it because we just now finally got her an appropriate sized windshield. So this just curious why you don't use that anymore

Great review but it is something that I don't see myself buying. I was taught early on to never trust my mirrors. I always look into other lanes when changing. Also, it seems too distracting.

I bought the same one but lost the screws before install. Do you know what screws were used so I can replace the missing ones to still use the mirror? I appreciate anyone who knows. Thanks

Looks great for vlogs but if the sum is behind you it looks like it might blind you.

No it's okay Beth my Ford Fiesta Active has really good visibility all round so I will not be buying that Poiser Screen, so I can constantly be looking at myself, which after all is - lets say I am no Oil Painting - not even a masterpiece !! I don't see the use of it. Vanity maybe? I prefer one mirror, and it was used for other than looking backwards. ie: hang a helmet on, or your riding coat when stopped.

They buy it from China and put their logo on it I don't see the reason why should I buy this for $60 just because it says RiderScan...while there's a ton of the same mirrors on amazon for $19.99 and additionally they have a lot of different brackets to attach it on handlebars etc.and it all comes in one package for $19.99 and you had to use a zip ties!! OMG ...... but if someone like to waste their money not my business.
