His fault for thinking dlc privilege would get him an easy win. I'm glad sephiroth players get to comfortable using another busted dlc counter. Leads to stuff like this because most of these people barely practice or learn the counters with high/top tier dlc. Even min min is arguably in this same position but the player clearly knew more than the sephiroth. Enough to counter cheese with cheese anyway.

Seems that some people don't have figured out that K.Rool's down B even when it reflects , it always activates the counter . The shock wave is the counter not the reflector but i don't know if it mantains the same knock when reflecting or it gets stronger with the power of the projectile .

If you shoot a projectile at close range you get hit by the counter and your reflected projectile, can kill samus at 0% with reflected chargeshot

@xWhisperx it's called b reversing and most of the time it's unsafe to approach the attack phase. You have to retreat, wait, or shield what's basically a whiffed counter. that is really good he has that as an option to prevent punishes

@xWhisperx k.rool. Mewtwo, Ness, Lucas, Kazuya, Min, all have direction dependant counters just off the dome. And Sephs counter literally makes you have to stop and let him finish the animation before doing anything...also still hits even when he whiffs making it pretty goddamn safe lmfao

Poor Alph near the end. His smash attacks and side special can be reflected, and were, but he didn't seem to be able to do much else.

That was neither EWGF nor up-smash. It’s Rising Uppercut. That’s what it’s called. It kills at like, 70%. It’s not unlike a Shoryuken except it doesn’t send you high in the air or usable in the air. It does lower the user’s hitbox a bit, making it a handy tool for reading whiffs. It’s understandable to assume all of Kazuya’s moves are just EWGF because it’s his trademark move, but even the most basic sounding of moves are special moves in his arsenal. Don’t forget that.

But it should still stay like that because of how good the character is in most other spots. It was to balance the character because he's meant to be a glass cannon.

I have NEVER seen a Ness DIE to PK thunder reflected back into them. That timing was nuts. Also I want to give attention to 7:01, I really like how the second stock was included despite not having anything to do with the video title, it was just a super clean zero to death off momentum and I really like that being part of the clip as a whole.
