Yeah, I'm getting ready to come back on Rouvy for the next 6 months (oh, so loooong autumns and winters here, north of France). Did a session yesterday, made me remember how harder it is on the home trainer versus outdoors.

Early is definitely best, it gets crazy with cars later. The cafe wasn't open last year but there is one at the top of the first climb out of Port Pollencia. They occasionally close the road for various events. Watch out for goats. It's breathtakingly beautiful.

Was in alcudia last August and i done my 1st road ride from there to the lighthouse and back. Went home on the friday and bought my 1st road bike on the Saturday.

Hi. For the tunnel I def recommend a small rear light. Taking off your shades is enough whilst inside to see. And I think they've installed some lights in the tunnel since the Rouvy video was made. But rear light is still a nice idea.

I’d go either early morning or evening. Road from Formentor Beach to Lighthouse is closed to all traffic except the local shuttle bus and bikes between 10.00am - 10.30pm (June to September inclusive) so you’ve the road almost to yourself, however, the buses go 2 by 2 and pretty fast. The road from Puerto Pollensa to Formentor Beach already has traffic from first thing (I was on it today at 7am)

My question is: has Rouvy fixed the jumping of the grades? It was unridable when for example they jump from 0 to 2 % in an instant. Completely unrealistic.

I catalog every ride inside or outside in my database I built back in 2005 that has all my ride info, bike , and maintenance on my bikes. I'm a data geek. :)

Hi, ride it in the morning. I loved the Cap de Formentor the most of my rides at Mallorca. ❤‍🔥If i ever get the chance to go back, i´l ride in the beginning and at the end of the vacation. Try to ride it when it´s not windy. Also ride Sa Calobra if u have the chance, it´s a tough one 💪 ❤

I wish the route would include the climb from Port Pollenca. Otherwise... I want it. 😄 Also I would suggest to ride there in the morning. In the evening it is full as heck and to be honest I would want to stay until sunset, when I am there in the evening. so better do it on the bike in the mornings.

Hi….I’d still take a rear light but now there is lighting in the tunnel I think…..and early is always best to avoid cars….enjoy….

Enjoyed the scenery on the bike and on the route lol. I would much prefer the images on Rouvy's than the cartoon like images on Zwift. Hate riding indoors either way.

@@richardharris8538 I had to move 10ft of cornish hedgerow at my home, and I thought concrete blocks were heavy 🙂Granite is a serious weight, and lift a few of those and you know you have done some work.

Go to Girona instead. Cap Formentor is a nice ride but the road can be crazy busy. Lunatic car drivers from the Uk think it’s a rally as well.

⁠@@Ardie321I’ve been on Zwift for 5 years approximately. It’s been okay. I am not a racer, so I don’t require that aspect. So I am basically doing endurance rides. Zwift is a very social experience, and it’s crowded! Recently there has been a visual glitch acknowledged by Zwift between my intel chip and their game. So I went and took the 14 day free trial at Rouvy. Seven days in and I am not going back to Zwift. The reality rides are great, the ghost riders keep you concentrated and the world is your oyster, not just endless rides around Watopia.
