Alyssa, I have never heard of this breed. One of the reasons I like your show so much is because I've never heard of some of these breeds and you have introduced them to me. You also ride well and I enjoy watching you and learning more about these beautiful animals.

I‘ve ridden a mallorquín mare once on a hack and it was marvellous. We went on a long trip an I’ve never seen a horse this calm and powerful with such a perfect feeling for the ground. I love that breed

I never saw a breed of horse I didn’t love 😉 I too never heard of these. What an adventure your quest is! I have to say I have a special place in my heart for wiry little Mustangs. They aren’t nearly as beautiful as the selectively bred of course. But they are easy keepers, easy to train, don’t spook at practically anything, their hooves don’t require too much attention, they don’t cost an arm and a leg, are wizened and loyal. Adopt one if you can!

I really recommend you ride a camargue horse whiles your close enogh! they are native grey and hardy poneys from souther france and are lovely to ride around! especially trail rides cause theyre super endurante and some places still let em roams the swamps they originate from!

Amazing how a horse will respond once you listen to what they have to say (so to speak) I believe they have a voice but not many of us are willing to listen or are just unaware, I have a standardbred mare that was also "a problem" but surprisingly enough not with me and I definitely don't consider myself a horse trainer, that stallion looks and behaves like it never had a problem, bless her for saving him, the world needs more people like her ✌️

You should go to Menorca and see The traditionel ridning on Menorguin horses they also hold some horse event with The horses working on hindlegs only

These videos are really interesting. But I think it would be great if each video had a standard section that showed the horse standing still from the side and talked about average height, weight, build, colors, etc. so we have a good view and standard points of comparisons across all breeds.

I’m from Mallorca, born and raised here. Beautiful horses, beautiful video. The music was a little bit offensive for me. Flamenco? In Mallorca? Our culture is too different. Did you know any mallorcan people in Mallorca? However I like your videos so much! 😊

Many years ago I was at Ala Birdi in Aborea for a wonderful trekking. But I will ask my sardinian friend, if there are better places, because Ala Birdi changed a lot and has become very turistic.

I can't imagine that riding in that side saddle for a while would be too comfortable. I prefer the normal dressage saddle 😅

These horses are called Menorquin horses. I jused to have a stallion, but unfortunately hè died at 5 years 😔

Hi yes and they are from The small Island Menorca not Mallorca just north east of Mallorca

I like to know how this horse is related to the North Africa barb horse? Because I see many similarities, since Mallorca is an island and can not imagine to have a native horse to it. Hope you can answer my question.
