thanks for joining us on this ride Reuben! That's a lot of layers man. I used to do the same thing with the gloves and pants. The heated gloves for the hands and the thermals+ ski pants have been a game changer. I really want to try the heated jacket so that I can lighten up the layers. All the guys that own one at the Electric Wednesday swear by them. hahaha I gotta respond to the rat with the NY accent "nah b, I'm good"

hahaha, the S73 is a pavement princess that never sees water or dirt, so she's always spotless! I hate cleaning the ebike since I gotta take things apart. On the other hand, I can just hose down the scooter and spray it with a ceramic spray and call it a day! The food was pretty good, It's just a bit pricey but it is Manhattan after all. The small crew that made it out made it worth it! Hope you can make it out to NYC for one of these one day

thanks for watching Domingo! It's always pretty chill during the winter since everyone is basically avoiding the cold. There's only a handful of crazies like me that ride all year round and go to these things lol. Yea man, just let me know and come through. You met most of the crew at the S73 group ride anyway so you'll know most of the zoozers!

@@user-cy7qt5pe5z congrats on your new scooter! Enjoy it, just make sure you gear up because accidents on these things can be life changing with out gear. Hopefully we can meet at one of the Electric Wednesdays or one of the Group Rides coming up. Generally, I'll announce if I'll be at a ride. It's just tough for me to make it to all the events through the year because of my work schedule. The rides/ events usually end up landing on a workday for me because I work most weekends lol. How's out there? Did you guys get the ice and snow as well?

@eyebahnrides the snow didn't really stick just made traffic. Not for me tho lol. Unfortunately I took a fall on my third week at about 40 mph fractured two ribs but I still rode home lol. Fully recovered scooter scratched but that's fine. Looking forward to a ride out!

You'll have a ton of fun on the Fiido here, it'll also be more comfortable to ride in a few months lol. If you do plan on building an S73 in the NJ area, there's tons of filipinos in that scene that can help you build a monster! I don't really see too many Fiidos around here. I see alot of Emove Roadrunners as the choice for the seated mini ebike/escooter

Please consider creating a video regarding gear. I have an escooter that I keep at 18mph. I just got a bike that goes up to 22 and I'm thinking of getting an emove cruiser this summer. I'd like to update my gear and next year I plan to do more winter riding. Thank you! ✨

thanks for watching this ride Sean! The Klima I have is identical to the latest version of the Klima except Michael Sha replaced rear fender with the rear fender with lights on it. Performance and ride quality are the same (except the difference in range between the base vs Max)

thanks for joining us for this ride and welcome to the comments section Viral! The lights on the handlebars are Gemini Titan Oled 4000s. They're incredible because they really do light up the darkest streets with ease. I'm actually only running them at 10% strength for the first half of the video and at 50% strength on the second half of the ride. I believe they can go up to a true 4000 lumens. I don't tend to use that because it's too bright for cars and the other people sharing the road with me. The gloves are the ones in the video's description. They're called Wasoto heated gloves. After a year, they've been amazing even though the battery is already dying faster than before

I also plan on riding all around New York. Question - how big of a battery do you have. I’m planing on riding with two people with with the revv1 up on off road mode boosted (close to 40 mph) for most of the time even though I won’t be going that speed the entire time. Any estimate on how big of a battery I should get. Stock now is 20 ah but I also don’t want to get voltage sag

Thanks for joining us on this ride! On the scooter I use a 30ah battery with LG 21700 cells and it gives me about 50 miles of commuting. On the S73, I have the stock 20ah stock battery and I run the older 20ah ChiBattery Ranger in parallel for a total of 40ah. I run the dual batteries so that I can maintain higher speeds for longer but the longer range is nice too. You may want to try doubling up by running two batteries in parallel for the range. In order to get less voltage sag, you may want to upgrade your battery with higher quality cells. If that's the case I would speak to the guys at Powerful Lithium in NJ. They could give you a better break down than I could since they actually specialize in building batteries for PEVs! I hope this helps!

Thanks for joining us for this ride Jumi! Apologies for the delayed response. Back to back illnesses knocked me out for a while so I'm just getting back to work and finally catching up on RU-vid.. Originally, my response would be I love both my Nami (burn e) and the S73 RX equally for commuting. However, things have really changed since I've gotten the Klima. For daily commuting and navigating my apartment building/ my new work building, it goes to the Klima hands down. That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy riding the s73. I definitely still love riding it and it's so much more comfortable to ride to ride seated with that custom seat/ spring combination I have. It's just a pain in the behind to get the bike in and out of the tight spaces at work and at home because of it's size compared to the Klima. Also, it attracts way too much unnecessary heat from ebike haters in my apartment building/ office building since it's very "emoto" looking. I'm at the point where I may even take off all the mods and ride it "stripped down" so that I can use it more often but we'll see.

Are you running a stock battery? I'm really considering a super 73, Grizzly, Ristretto or Lyric Graffiti. I have a Juiced Hyperscrambler 2 and love it because I can actually pedal it with the Big Chain ring and torque sensor. But want one more ebike in the style. SO wondering about the range on the Super 73. Even though their specs are a tad out dated now with all these 1000 watt, 52v systems. Thinking maybe they will update it soon

@@Jhubble515have you see the new Segway ebike? Apparently, it’s gonna be a 40 mph + ebike with a ton of features. I think you should look into getting a 40+ mph ebike since already have a 30 mph ebike.

thanks for joining us on this ride and welcome to the channel Jereme! I love my S73 and I love the S73 community. But, like Khan said, there are going to be much more options in that space this year. I always tell everyone, a S73 will never win any wards with performance or price, but there's more to PEVs than performance to price. Its nice to have the peace of mind that the company is financially stable enough that they will be there to support you for years and there are tons of vendors that support the brand. That's one of the things that led to my decision to purchasing the RX over other options that others would consider "better". As long as you keep your expectation that it's a true class 2-3 ebike and it's not an "electric motorcycle" straddling the legal grey area pretending to be an ebike, it can be an enjoyable ownership experience. With regulations and law enforcement cracking down on things that are legally grey, I believe you're on the right path with picking between those 3 models.

Thanks for joining us on this ride as well! Those mirrors were purchased locally from my S73 vendor and they're Loomenades. Before that I used to have Kemimoto Round mirrors on the bike. Both mirrors are great because they feel solid and give you a crystal clear view of whats to the side of you. These just have a blueish tint to them to prevent high glare from the cars/ sun while the Kemimotos tint was a bit lighter.
