When you defund the police, how is it unfair for citizens to defend themselves? You cannot have it both ways.

I watched every minute of this case...imagine if we were tried by the media. People commented without having any facts at all.

All rational people know this isn’t race driven in any ways

This wouldn't have happened if every good person in Kenosha stepped outside that night to defend their city. They would not even need to be armed. 100,000 good people against a few hundred rioters...job done.

I stand with Kyle on this case. As a black woman, this is sad. I had to argue with my mother about this. She believes that it was racially motivated even though there's no POC involved and that Kyle is a white supremacist which is far from the truth. I hope and pray that he can move past this.

This was a trial of a Constitutionally protected individual vs criminals.

if a not guilty verdict would encourage "vigilantism" what would a guilty verdict have encouraged?...

The right to self preservation is the oldest and most basic of all human rights given to all of us by God alone. No man has the authority to pick and choose who gets this right and who doesn't. The jury upheld this right based on the evidence only.

Fun fact %100 of the people that didn't assault or attack Kyle are still alive.

If the cops did their job when the riots were happening, Kyle would have never been on trial!

I cant get over how hard the government can screw someone they know is innocent! Binger is far too experienced a prosecutor to genuinely believe Kyle was guilty. And still he would not only have happily jailed him for life - but he was also willing to lie to do it! It's a disgrace.

The victim was Kyle, he was running from the violent attackers. The assailants made decisions which eventually ended badly for them. Kyle can’t be blamed for the violent actions of a hostile mob. I’m grateful there was video evidence, otherwise the trial may have ended in a miscarriage of justice.

The only thing that surprised me about this trial was that it took the jury 3 days to find him not guilty of something that was thankfully on video and CLEARLY self defense.

Why haven't they arrested the man with the pistol and charged with attempted murder

Most everyone who is angry about this is angry because they now know that if they're rioting, and they see someone they don't like and don't want them to be there they can't intimidate or attack them. No one has to put up with being attacked.

If police policed the streets, this situation would have never occurred

What this case will do is make sure that every person walking the earth has a right to defend their life. End of story.

Well, if those two families need to grieve that's fine, but they need to keep in mind that grieving and justice are two different things. Those two died because of the choices that they made for themselves and for no other reason. There is no justice in condemning someone else for the mistakes they made that ultimately cost them their lives. And for the Media, you gotta stop giving people like that air time, it just breeds a hate and revenge mindset when there shouldn't be any. You have a responsibility to tell the truth, and to temper that information with wisdom. Everything you do and say plants a seed. Be careful what you sow.

My heart aches for the family whose sons were killed, but I do not feel bad for the men who were killed, the choices they made took them to where they are now

Apparently there was two jury members who thought he was Not Guilty, but were concerned for their safety and also their family members also. After arrangements were made for their safety and their concerns addressed. They proceeded with handing down their verdicts in the case.

Way to go Kyle, congrats on your acquittal. You acted in self defense and the Jury saw it that way.

I feel sorry for him. Goes to show how even if you have good intentions people will still try to bury you just for the sake of the narrative.

Self defense is about having the right to defend yourself when you're life is being threatened, plain and simple. The fact that these woke people are trying to shoehorn the concept of racism into the act of defending yourself from harm has no basis in common sense. Bottom line, no matter your racial background, it is wrong to threaten the life of a person who has done nothing to provoke you.

Scares me to think what would have happened if there hadbeen no videos, the lies the media and the POTUS told would have put an innocent kid behind bars and let him suffer for life. Justice has been served.

The fact that this is even so publicized is so pathetic on the media's part. Those bozos did what most people do when they wanna die by cop. No real difference. Until I watched the trial for myself, I didn’t know the gas station where it all started and where Kyle stayed up until they started attacking him, is owned by his grandparents. They came on to his property to attack him. I didn't know that Kyle put out a dumpster fire that was being rolled down to a gas station to blow up, with people all around. I didn't know that the Police were told to stand down as businesses were destroyed. I didn't know that Kyles Dad, Grandma and Friends all lived in Kenosha, 20 minutes from where he resided with his Mom part time in Illinois. I didn't know that someone knocked Rittenhouse down twice and then attempted to kick him with lethal force to the head. I didn't know that Huber had hit him in the head 2x with a skateboard. I didn't know Gaige Grosskreutz, aimed his gun at Kyle first, as he admitted on the stand. I also didn't know that in the State of Wisconsin, it is legal for Kyle to have a gun, even at 17 (which was why the gun charge was dismissed). I didn't know that Kyle did not cross state lines with a gun he wasn't supposed to have. The rightful gun owner did, as he was legally permitted to do. I also didn't realize that Rosenbaum was a 5 time convicted child rapist and that Huber was a 2 time convicted woman beater. I didn't know that Grosskreutz was a convicted Burglar with an assault on his record also. IF THE MEDIA DID THEIR JOB... we would ALL have known this and tax payers dollars would not be wasted and more division created!

1. As a citizen born and raised in Minnesota. It’s kinda ironic how our neighbors have all of this violence at their door step now. 2. I can support this kid. But if he wants to make people relax, and make sure he can live, he should maybe man up and say I’m sorry for what happened.
