Please explain why u need a clear bead on the line that's away from the hook but u can have a huge orange float just behind the hook.....I need to wrap my head around this plz

Does the toothpick on the float not hinder the kickback?

If the toothpick holds the float to the line, then surely the line cannot move making the kickback not to work. Am I missing something?

Just use the specimen Carp Helicopter rig
