@@CYellowan mango used to enter tournaments way back in the day as a Mario main under the alias ScorpionMaster, and he played ranked as scorpionmaster recently. Ringler beat him before the Leffen game.
no Leffens neutral game is shit the first stock leffen lost with a % lead because he refused to camp the top plat and make Ringlers character have to use both jumps to reach him And he never lasered people really do not play the character match ups correctly
i played ringler in the early days of slippi, no idea who he was, could not touch him at all. then saw him at the side-tourney for a smash summit he did very well and now here he is. second most jarring smash playing experience ive had behind playing s2j
most jarring smash experience i've had is playing eikelmann in pools and listening to him laugh as he 4 stocked me with game and watch, then trying to throw some trash away, missing, and just walking away.
@@DarkLeviathan8 its like riding a bull for the first time in ur life. someone just running around the stage at hyper speed and ur just standing there helplessly trying to time ur attacks against it. hands get super shaky and u just feel u have zero control over ur character.
Leffen: "BOXX-style controllers should be banned" also Leffen: uses the unnerfed BOXX-style controllers also Leffen(???): can't even use the (allegedly) massive competitive advantage from his ban-worthy controller to beat DK
he hasnt played a BOXX-style controller in months before that, of course it takes practice to be good on it. thats why no top players has swapped for now. that should be obvious for anyone with a brain.
In the second game, Ringler would've won if Leffen didn't go for easy fox shine cheese to take an early stock. They would be at 2 stocks a piece with Ringler at 9%.
i guess, but leffen did, because the ability to do this is part of what makes fox good. it's a bit of a weird counterfactual to pose given that, this is just a thing that fox ordinarily does; it's a bit like saying leffen wouldnt rack up so much damage without the laser. also weird given that, ringler just straight-up won the set; we dont need this sort of hypothetical to demonstrate how good he is, we have the much more compelling fact that, he won.
mind you, leffen is on a boxx, the very controller he complains about, and Ringler is over here happy dandy on a gcc handing him his ass... Just let that sink.... All shits aside though, DK isn't that bad. Great edgeguards, combo game for certain characters are absurd, good range, decent recovery tbh.. The biggest issue with DK is he's SO EASY TO REVENGE KILL.. His shield sucks, no reliable ledgestall, he's big, his waveland game is bad due to his ECB. This makes him such a dumby big target for being killed immediately after taking a stock and what's the biggest thing about winning in melee? That's right, keeping your stocks after taking from your opponent. This is DK's biggest problem in my experience playing as and watching DKs.
@@ElectricusTus I don’t hate low tiers :) I just mean most people don’t like playing them because the cost benefit in their mind is super low because they think they’re too good to lose to pichu and if they do lose they feel intense animosity
Amsa 1 might be the most insane take when Zain has much better losses and more major wins. His average placements are a lot better, too. Whack ass take
Am I the only one who gets hella annoyed by the notification sounds? I really dont need a Fox shouting at me every couple of seconds especially when it's as loud as Mango himself... turning it down around 7db should be fine and would make watching the clip much more desirable for me.
