The Epson XP-510, XP-520, XP-530 and XP-540 Expression "Premium" printers were designed with half the waste pad capacity of their cousins (like the XP-600) despite their being zero reason for such a limitation to exist.
We're highlighting this "feature" as owners of these printers will undoubtedly be hitting the waste ink pad error much earlier than other printer models and in many cases will be advised to dispose of their printer or pay for a potentially expensive service centre repair, particularly if the printer is out of warranty.
Instead of accepting this ridiculous limitation we wanted to raise awareness of the problem and let owners of these printers know that a DIY solution is readily available in the form of our XP2 Printer Pad (and reset key) bundle using the instruction videos below:
