The fact that Lucas and Vienette's child is the tyrant king is wild. This must be a longer story than it seemed like in the beginning. I wish you had more in the book about Other Lucas as well, he seems like a bit of an extra at this point. Does Other Lucas live somewhere else? Do he and Lucas trade places regularly? Does he get twice as much done as someone without two bodies?
We get a few details about him. The Other Lucas was painting while the other is recovering from his bruises. Even when one body is resting, the other can be productive, although I get the sense that he sometimes finds it hard to concentrate when both bodies are active at once. Maybe that's why he kept forgetting what he went to the market for. Kinda wonder why he didn't have his other self look for Gigi while his original body guarded his wife. That might be a minor plot hole. lol

Will you be making an audio book for the second book as well? If yes, please get more voice actors, possibly Mrs. Darkmatter, for the feminine voices of the next book. Your voice acting is very good, but I feel like the voices are getting too familiar with each other with the increasing number of characters. I'm loving this story very well so far.
Yes, I'm not sure introducing a new character like Kyle would do before at least book 1 of the story is wrapping up. I do feel a bitter sweet though, as I've been following the story since part 1, and hopefully we can get a book 2. Everybody go buy the book!

Just FYI. "From whence" is apparently wrong, as "whence" means "from where" or something like that. This is the third time I've heard you use it in the course of this series.
Your cast is overpowered, there is no sense of tension, despite the odds , I really don't feel like there is any challenge they can't handle. Why doesn't gigi just create fantasy mustard gas, or why doesn't the mc just paint a portrait of lava and have it trebucheted at the enemy camp. More importantly he can paint life apparently nevermind the fact that an unfinished portrait is secretly an unkillable super weapon, what even is death since the painted picture ARE the person, so what if garret died just paint another, and for that matter why not just paint a battalion of hiveminded garrets, a battalion of gigi or justims. Food? Water?armaments? Just paint them. Not to mention an elite company of assasins were foiled by one prince and a teenager, the company slaughtered and the poison cured, royal elite guards are no match for the assassins but the crown prince wipes the floor with the lot and it's implied gigi and Lucas could do the same. No hate, writing anything is an accomplishment but it's just glaring that I'm being told your cast is on the run and at a disadvantage, but they behave like demigods.
Personally I am enjoying the story, but have wondered the same thing regarding the magics introduced and their implications on the world. I do tend to prefer magic/Sifi systems with more defined rules and thoroughly thought through implications of those. Other than that this is still an enjoyable narrative imho.
@@littlebitofhope1489 bro, the story wants me to take the black eagle threat seriously when one TEENAGE boy is an alchemist genius capable of curing anything, and the other can paint ANYTHING into existence including life and pocket dimensions. And their opposition is guys with swords and armor, i don't mind power fantasies but the narration makes it sound like there should be tension but there just isn't.
@@mr.sandman1963 I mean it's free entertainment I'm just venting my frustration at narrative dissonance, the cast could conquer our modern technologically advanced world easily with the magic they have, but some guys with swords are a threat?
I can respect your opinion even if I disagree with you, but while DM2525 probably appreciates feedback, I doubt he's going to change how he makes his videos based on what his audience says rather than based on what he wants to make.
