When you've uploaded the last part, had you considered uploading the entire thing to audible? I don't really know how that works, but I'm sure there's some way to do it.
There's a part of Book 3 that will make it clear why. He paints a person in the next episode, and it works, but it doesn't work again until he figures out why it worked the first time. I'm leaving clues now, in this book, but it won't be revealed until Book 3.
I feel like I know who is going to end up being The Queen and The Tyrant King but i don't want to say my theory for fear of spoiling it. All I can say is, what would happen if a king or dictator was genuinely good and made the most compassionate decisions? They would technically be a tyrant due the king knowing they are a great fit to rule and force others to be chill through having fair laws, so, would a tyrant even be that bad, if bad at all, if the king is a "good" tyrant? Also, the queen would be the one by the tyrant king's side due to maybe them growing to like and trust each other from their younger years. I think i failed in not spoiling it though, idk, well just have to see if i'm right as the story gets further along.
I want to amend my comment in that I realized that the author figured out pretty early how OP such a brush was and then had to come up with a reason to not use it to end the story quickly. They also introduced this Zeke character who might seem to be the main antatogonist of this story, and the unnamed girl a love inerest. I'm kind of sad we didn't get to find out more about Merry weather as she's clearly on the cover and has been hinted at for a while. Outside of these nitpicks I've been very happy with the story thus far 8/10
These audio episodes will end December 1st, so not long after that is my guess. I just finished designing the cover for Book 2. I also decided to do one last editing sweep to search for mistakes. I'll make an announcement video for it.
I'm not even sure where this story is going. I was happy when Lucus got the brush last time and functionally became green lantern, and I thought that when his god parents died instead of swearing off using magic he would finally turn against the soldiers. Not only did he not get rid of the soldiers but the soliders are seemingly going to kill him for assaulting what I guess is the son of another soldier. I'm definitely willing to reserve judgement until next week, but if anybody want to reassure that this twist pays off ahead of time, I'd be grateful.
