Oh where do I start with this priceless t.v. caption, as I have not seen it before Lets start with these significant women ... 1, Gail Newsham who wrote the book "In a League of Their Own" a historical account of Preston's Dick Kerr Ladies Football team, I read it in 1997 tears ran down my face (due to differing emotions) when reading it A Must Read!. 2, June Gregson, a woman who played in the team from the 1950's ( An unassuming Female Football Pioneer) without any doubt!. 3, Rita Tushhingham a Liverpool Lass and a great actor who was influenced by Gail Newsham's book an had the contacts to make the general puplic aware of "The Lases from Lancashire" Preston's Dick Kerr Ladies Xxx.

Rita is utterly fantastic, she was outstanding in taste of honey, the trap, girl with green eyes and her small but tiny part in Doctor Zhivago. Wonderful woman
