I put a TDR on my 98 GP1200 years ago ...probably 1999 or 2000 and omg lol. That think went from sounding pretty mean to downright beastly! I love it....I find myself just riding around slowly leaning over a little so the underwater exhaust outlet is slightly exposed...blipping the throttle. It's a sickness I tell you. With the 1200 2 stroke engine the exhaust sounds like I have a nascar engine lol. People on the shore always turn to look when I go by haha. Obnoxious? yep Awesome? Double Yep :)
With the stock prop I clocked 82. Not sure what prop I would go with tho as I am still looking into it. Maybe a 13/18 as I will be at stage 2 soon. I gotta change the intercooler too. 😎
@@QuadStar721 what are you getting the 82mph from gps or go pro I have same ski with stage 1 plus with gen 2 intake and pump seal and gen 2 ride plate and I’m only getting 79 with a flick of 80 !!! I’m using Can do gps speed module !! That’s on salt water !
The catch can that I have catches the oil in a can versus just going through a filter an potentially dripping oil into the hull and making a mess in the bottom of your ski. Riva does make a catch can as well as Fizzle. www.4-tecperformance.com
Was not able to remove the waterbox without taking the exhaust header off. The stock waterbox is too big and no room at the back of the ski for removal..
@@QuadStar721 I’m debating getting a water box and the free flow exhaust because of the drone and the fact I have a 2022 GP1800R SVHO. I’ve read that the 2022 water box is almost identical to the riva box, not sure how true that is.
@@Mike-xn1bh inside all stock waterbox is a baffle. They do that for sound suppression. Riva or TDR will flow better and sound awesome too👌 If you are not sure call 4-tecperformance.com
