Ikr! I always thought he had the cutest perfect nose lol I know that sounds weird but I mean everything! His eyes... His mouth... His hair... His voice he's such a beautiful person❤️
+Chloe Hayes that's not weird at all! I completely agree with you! You're so like me!😂Everything about River inside and out was just pure perfection! True legend!
This is EXACTLY WHY I first fell for River as a very young girl,it was bcos of his kind, gentle and caring heart, not just bcos he was a cute Hollywood star, there was so much more to him than that.
River Phoenix 💝 : "We take these animals and completely violate who they are. We use them, abuse them, and deprive them all their lives...Then we cut their throats, shred them and eat them ! MORALLY, I'm against it, ETHICALLY, I can't justify it, and ECOLOGICALLY, it's just insane. The thought of meat-eating makes me shudder." (interview 1989)
He is such an inspiration, it's so wonderful that he decided to spread a good message with his fame. I wish movie stars were still like him, he is the best.
River had big heart and beautiful soul and used his fame for charity and to make a difference in the world ❤️ river I love u so much I wish you were still here 🥺😭😭❤️💕🦋🦋
River and the dogs...it just breaks your heart.. people like him cannot be saved...if he didn't die, he would suffer every day...you can't have a heart like that and not suffer on this planet...its not possible...💔
Jordan M That happened because River was depressed, he had bad relationship with actress Judy Davis, when they were shooting Dark Blood. And then, in the Viper Room, he wasn't allowed to play on the stage with his friend, so he went away to use the drugs. He was just depressed, he didn't want to die
+Майор Юнипэрус The autopsy report details showed that his body didn't have the previous damage of someone who had a serious drug addiction. And he was also able to stop drugs for months at a time. That's why I've always believed that he was never a junkie like the media made him look after his death. I think at done point in the last few years of his life he fell into the wrong crowd and was introduced to drugs. His innocence was to the point of naivete and he trusted people too easily. But as for the drug use, I wonder how often he actually did them. I think it was just occasionally and that night he seriously didn't know know what he was really taking. He ended up taking too much cocaine and then drinking a liquid he was given which turned out to contain heroin, and of course the mixture of those two drugs is what caused his heart to stop.
i think (tho im obviously just speculating from the outside looking in, like you and almost everyone else) he did drugs on the reg and had enough experience so that he should've really known better, but he also had enough of a passive deathwish to be reckless af, especially since Davis DID stress him out and it doesnt sound like he was used to people being mean to him. doesnt mean i dont respect Phoenix (or even, like, ADORE Phoenix) but i think we should all hold HIM responsible above anyone else for what happened
itinkuno Yep, nope. A trusted friend gave him the drink which stopped his beautiful heart. He had no idea what was in the drink. Think about it: He never did drugs around his family, so why would he do it while out with his teenaged brother and sister? There was NO residue found within his nose and there were no needle marks. Read the autopsy.
@@andromedastar4900 Exactly. I hate hate hate that his whole life gets reduced to that. Whatever drugs he did, it was such a small part of who he was. I remember being like that in my late teens and early 20's. I wanted to hang out with the musicians and artists who were doing really cool work. But I was naive, and didn't realize how screwed up some of them were. I would have, and did take drugs that were offered to me. Stupid? Yes. Was I a 'junkie'? No. Everyone around me was doing it, and it seemed safe. I'm just lucky nothing happened. Also, his whole life led to that moment. He didn't have a normal childhood. Was raised to beleive in peace, and love, and that everyone can be good. Then he was dropped into a world where you need far thicker skin, and a suit of armor to protect yourself from the vultures and screw ups.
He has given me great inspiration, and I have so much to thank him for, as he has so many beliefes that I to stand close to, and almost all of them are so similer to mine, thank you for all the inspiration, I shall always look up to you.
this makes me laugh he reminds me of me, the way he seemed to be getting annoyed at himself and the camera man. in uni we have to read stuff out for radio and i am always so bad at reading it right so i get annoyed hahaha
@squirell1952 well , 'druggie habbits' are never a good example, but that doesn't equal his entire existance. he never promoted drug use, he only promoted things to help others and the world. just because he got into drugs it doesn't erase his character. people make mistakes and bad choices but it doesn't mean they are bad people. people should think about why people would risk their life using drugs instead of reducing their being because they used them.
If only he and his family knew that PETA kills over 90% of their animals, he would never have supported them when he was alive. I don’t blame him or his family but rather I blame PETA as a whole.
What is the name of the piece of music that plays towards the end of this ad? It's also on the beginning of the movie MERMAIDS with Cher, and have always loved it.
What year was this commercial for PETA when river phoenix did it and what year it was I will let you know about it. What year did that commercial came out? This is for the person that put this commercial here
He collapsed outside of Johnny Depp's nightclub the Viper room. He took drugs before he went there and because there was so many drugs in his system he died. It's heartbreaking
