Hi All! My buddy took delivery of his long awaited R1S! Today it gets its first bath as he prepares for a wrap and we give it a quick once over for build quality. Thanks for watching! Chris
I wanted an R1S, but ended up getting a Wagoneer after they bumped the R1S from like $75k up to $85k-$95k. It's definitely worth the updated price, kicking myself for not preordering early.
The R1S is the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. More off-road capable than my previous vehicles (Taho, Blazer S10, stock Jeep, Explorer). Holds the same amount of passengers as my Pacifica and Sienna, but can carry more stuff because it gives you cargo space where the engine and gas tank normally go. It’s quicker than my previous Corvette, BMWs or Audi. It’s a super comfy road tripper (did a round trip from MN to Key West Fl). Great sound system, just can do it all. Here’s a video TintWorksMN did when I first got it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ilagay7O_JU.htmlsi=lu5GxpWiy4TKr7Cy And here’s one that a MN RU-vidr did on it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BrUADRKk6gU.htmlsi=E2O-C654KRf48Y5D
I was trying to figure out your channel once you mentioned you’re in MN. I couldn’t tell if you had a detailing business, but it looks like you just do it for fun? Any chance I can bring it my R1S and we properly detail that one? I took delivery this past October and have put over 26K miles on it. It’s not “abused”, but I’m not easy on it. So it has some road salt in the carpet, trail dust in the trims, bug guts on the “grill”. It’s a Launch Green with matt finish PPF. Would love to see how back to new condition we could get it.
Hey thanks for watching! I do this for fun when my schedule allows. To do a full detail would require a little commitment. It would be a few months until I have the available time but I would be happy to help!
@@PaFurGarage I haven't driven one. If folks want them and can afford them by all means buy what you want. For the majority prices are out of reach, even for a used EV.
