Is your still working, I've had 2 of these kits the first did not work no spark the second achieve 2 miles before it also lost its spark.

@@avmoto1 With the exception of a little oil seapage where the wire comes through the case, I have had zero issues with the stater

@@avmoto1 I just bought one and the bike doesn't want to startwith the button, only kick I think it's the same, there isn't enough spark.

What is the limit for additional accessory power consumption without undercharging the battery? (Assuming i hook up aditional LED spotlight and thermo fan on a switch directly to battery terminals). Thank you

Can you still use the on and off control for the headlight or is it always on when the bike is running?

With this system the headlight is always on when the bike is running. There is no on/off control for the headlight on a CRF450X. With the original system the headlight was always on when the motor was running as well.

Hello, just received your stator for my 05 450x, install went well... but wan to know how and where can I pull a lead for the trail tech fan set up..?

If it uses it's own switch to turn on and off, I would attach directly to the battery terminals. Otherwise you can use the switched relay output on our regulator to trigger a relay for it. This way the fan will not run when the motor is off.

You can tie it in to something that only comes on when you hit a certain switch or wire them straight to the stator or headlight. I'd wire fans to my highbeam but I don't have a light lmfao.

This system converts the power source to the headlight from AC to DC, there is no mention of changing the light itself. Are you able to use the same light with the new DC power source?

Yes the same headlight works just fine with an AC or DC power source. No need to change your light.

No you aren't you will need a new light housing so you can use a better lamp.

Question is the alternator same as a stater for a Dirtbike I bought new battery for my 09 Honda CRF450X started fine just a few times then went out I had to kick start it from there. Today I tried to check my voltmeter to see the charge but was only like 4 volts max rev the engine and it dropped. So what I did I connected a portable battery jumper and the bike fired right up without the battery. I tried looking for an alternator but can’t seem to find one online only starters?

Yes the stator is the alternator for our bikes. With the bike off a charged battery should read around 12v, To test if your stator is working start the bike and rev it up, the battery terminals should then read 13.6 +/- .1 ish, which means it's getting charge from the stator. If you don't see that 13 volts at the battery terminals with it running than your stator is bad. I just bought this RM 90w stator for the fact I can run better headlight setups with DC power and have better charge, Highly recommend.

I read you have a '09 450x, I have a '08 and bought this exact kit. Don't forget to pick up a new left case gasket as well. And also the headlight wire will be ran externally from the regulator clip. This video was what I used to install so you will be fine.

I bought this kit for my 2014 CRF450RX an my motorcycle don't run now intermittent spark. Leave it for 20mins it starts for 10 seconds then leave again an will after another 20mins or so What right ohm to check on Yellow wires an White an blue
