After having the Halo Pro installed and completing a couple of journeys, I went into the app to watch some of the footage, but only found a few roughly 7-11 second clips from the entire journeys? Does it not record the whole journey for later playback? How did you get the extended footage in this video as mine never showed any longer clips. Thanks.
@@IorekBear92 yes when viewing the main screen in the app that shows the video player, you scroll backwards on the bottom of this video screen to view all the recorded footage. Hope that makes sense. I was proper worried until I found this haha.
Hi there, can you show me on the app how to disable parking mode (park guard)? I would disable it when my car was in the garage for a holiday so that it didn’t run the battery down. The user manual suggests this can be done but I haven’t been able to do it. TIA
Hi Tim, I can't remember of the top of my head but under settings, maybe advanced there was an option around battery protection - by default it's 24 hours but you might be able to reduce that down. I think I've covered the option in my halo go video (part 1) and show how to get to it
Brilliant ...I've been struggling with my Blackvue 720s video quality is poor IMO ,love how easy the app is too ans I like the GPS features..great review off to buy one
Hello there. My halo pro is not working properly when I parked the car. The both cameras still recording 30 mins more then switching off till when I start to car in the morning. I tried to all settings. But still continue same problem. Do you have any advise please? Thanks.
Can you remove the camera on the pro from the mount itself, so its not always on view? when parked up for example. Also can you watch the videos via the app if not connected to the wifi from the cam. Seems if I want to watch the videos i have two choices . . take the sd card out and plug in a pc or sit in my car whilst its connected to the cam wifi and watch from the car??
Hi Robert those are the two ways to watch the video, the other option is to download it over WiFi and then go back and watch it in the house. I don't remember the mounts being removable from memory. The best one for that function was the halo ultra.
Can the rear cam be mounted as an internal cabin cam? Is there much movement on the bracket? I wana use the rear came as internal cam? Is this possible pls
Some reviews warn against buying this PRO edition as the rear camera footage is flipped (mirror image) so any footage would be useless in court apparently.
Hi mate. Does the app work ok with the 128gb card ? I’m torn as to what the heck to do, but really need front/back cameras so this seems best halo out of the 5. Good quality pic. Seems rather cheap as I said £168 with hard wire kit in Costco. Money ain’t the problem coz the Audi cams are £640. Just want the best I can get.
Not sure as I only had a 32gb in there for testing. I can't see what the difference would be though as it does support up to 128gb (according to the specs) and the buffering / streaming over WiFi works well. I also used the app on my android phone, so maybe the user's that had issues either had a different android or was using iPhones (just a guess at the potential difference in experience) This is personally my favourite from the range and I think with GPS and telematics it's a good buy for a front and rear camera.
@@GJX-xy7dm the Audi dash cams were always a rip off from when I previously looked into them at the time I was buying mine. Not sure if they now include GPS too? But I would never pay that much for a dash cam - they're pretty basic pieces of tech at the end of the day and manufacturers get away with it just because they stick a shiny logo on it.
@@iqrar67 literally just tried it now and it works for me, maybe try from another device? It works across all dashcams and I just added the pro to check.
Your video shows the unit with USB-C but the site, and any site selling them shows Micro USB and that is a problem. USB-C is far superior, and any Micro will break in weeks...
