Slow pokes in the left lane and drivers that won't put their phones down are major causes as well. Colorado's weak texting and driving laws certainly don't help.

I just started driving again after 8 years of riding a bike and walking to work. I noticed every single time I get on the road, there's someone right behind me tailgating me and I'm so sick of it. After taking the driving test last month, that's in the manual over and over again how you are not supposed to tailgate. 3 to 5 car lengths! Jeeeez.

The problem, in my opinion, is most people feel they are invincible while driving in their cars. Being encased in a 3 ton metal and plastic mode of transportation makes them feel safe.

Mr. Ponytail seems to be very emotional and high-strung. He's also obviously a terrible driver.

This issue is the reason why people in cars, motorcycles, bicycles, semi trucks, SUVs (including my SUV), pickup trucks, etc. have dash cams in their cars.

I just wish people would stop doing this to truck drivers as well. So many either tailgate semis, cut them off, or refuse to let them over in merging traffic.

If somebody doesn’t like you, they could get together with a group of people and complain on you

Half of the complaints on the list were slamming in breaks, sounds like a bunch of angry tailgaters. DONT TAILGAIT AND YOU WONT HAVE TO SLAM ON YOUR BRAKES WHEN I SLAM ON MINE.

Road rage isn't going anywhere, If anything it's only going to get worse, The aggressive drivers outweigh the safe drivers out on the highways and interstates .

We need better driver education it’s way to easy to get a license and once you get it you never have to be retested I see countless people driving that have no clue what they’re doing I think people should have to retake their driving test once atleast every 5 years with a written and driven portion to make sure they stay up to date with all rules and laws it will only create better drivers

Too bad I bet half the people that complained were the ones that were stirring the pot and starting shit, then the other driver retaliated they called him in. I’m sorry I used to have faith in my fellow Americans, then I moved to Michigan.

Finally police accurately understanding the problem and what triggers road rage. The speeding has got to stop. These people that feel entitled to speed are the main trouble. The worst offenders are motorcycles. All of them drive bad. The freeways are where most of the problems start. I try to stay off of them as much as possible.

Dash cam solves all! Point at dash cam and every bad ass is mellowed once they know they are being recorded!! 😂😂

I was a victim of road rage. 3 lanes heavy traffic. The guy was laying on his horn, riding my bumper, hanging out the window and screaming. He finally drove up the median and drove through a red light to get ahead of me where he remained in the intersection because so many cars he could not pull forward. A state patrolman was in the lane to my right. He did nothing.

What do you expect from a middle age man who cannot grow any beard, with a pony tail, named Houdini?

That guy’s not gonna stop..you kidding me? A visit’s not changing his behavior. He’s gonna go back to doing the same thing. The only thing that has a chance of changing his behavior is if he’s heavily fined or arrested for some incident.

That’s exactly the mentality of the police. They feel their lives are more important than that of the general public. How ironic is it that the cop said that?! Officer safety. Never public safety.

In Texas we have a crazy proliferation of left lane hogs who will not UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE move over to let traffic pass. It's this kind of idiotic behavior that causes a lot of instances of road rage. People who don't understand how to merge. People who get on the freeway going street speeds that INSIST on waiting until they get on the freeway to speed up instead of using the using the merge lane to speed up, thus forcing everyone in the right lane to show down to allow them to merge. Riding on the side of any other vehicle, but especially the big rigs, THAT CANNOT SEE YOU IF YOU DO THAT. The problem is the imbecillic rule that persons age 18 and over do not need to take driver training. This needs to change, and driver training needs to be MUCH more involved and longer; the driving test as well. If more people knew the rules of the road, I predict that there would be less road rage.

I drive a semi full time and although unrelated to this video if I have 10 cars pass on my left 8 out of 10 minimum have their phone in their hand in some fashion. It's become extremely dangerous to drive on the interstates especially.

These days you can't go 3 - 4 blocks without coming apon some reckless behavior, but if your an experienced driver you learn to spot the aggressive drivers and avoid possible situations. You don't take anything personal, and drive defensively.

How dare these people be on "my road" and in "my way" when I'm in a "hurry and running late", if "they" would just "get out of my way" said most road ragers!

Up here in Seattle almost everyone s eyes are locked on their smart phone........who cares about safety.......

Nope, watching violent movies playing violent video games and growing up in a society that glorifies revenge doesn't affect people at all.

Dash cams folks. They can issue citations based on video evidence. There's a few people who can attest to that, as with camera footage I have had more than one person issued tickets.

I have seen someone fire shots from his car into the cabin of someone else for trying to cut them off. Seriously it's not worth it, some people have nothing to lose.

think about it guys, 10 minutes of being angry isn't worth someones life or a huge accident that could end up being thousands of dollars with a new vehicle and medical bills.

I’ve seen road rage, air rage (even before knee defenders), and “water rage”, among the boat and jet ski users on the lake near where I live. I’ve even seen fights among pedestrians because of people cutting in line or a bike/e-scooter on the sidewalk.

Weird. About 10 years ago I was number 4 on CSP’s list. I had 10-12 calls against me. They tried to take my license. The police came to my house. I have seen it all.

This is why professional help such as social worker, psychologist, and working as a team between parents and elementary schools could make a huge impact as a society to teach how to cope in a moment of frustration, how to cope in a moment of anxiety, how to cope in a moment of rage, anger, etc, etc and avoid fatalities specially in this country where all of that anger holding on your body despite that you provide guns or any type of fire arm to them. This is really serious but we love to learn from the hard way.

MA State Police have had a “road rage” unit on the highways since the 90’’s. They drive unmarked vehicles, most are sports cars and you never see them coming. ***I’ve forgotten now but it’s either Alabama or Georgia that have billboards with a phone number (like 611 or something), to report aggressive semi drivers. The last time I drove from NC back to Texas in 2014 I noticed them.

Denver is getting worse & worse!! Lived here for over 15 years it didnt used to be this way! Its getting over crowded quick😡

What about the people who are driving slow in the fast lane and won't let others pass? That is also inconsiderate of other drivers. This can also get other drivers angry, helping to cause road rage incidents! Think about it! Basically all drivers, even slow-ass drivers need to be cosidirit of other drivers. Move the F over if you are in the fast lane. and nobody else is in front of you.

How about stop waiting the troopers time knocking on doors and start pulling over and enforcing the laws! I’ve been in Colorado, it’s a mess! Every highway under construction, great planning there! So many tailgaters, cut offers, and people on their phones! 😖

“There’s a mentality now, that people think they’re more important then others.” Yeah, it’s called out of state drivers. Usually Californians. If they’re native, it’s usually chicks in WRX’s, old men in trucks, or rich people in Land Rovers or Lexus SUVs. As an Uber driver in Denver, that is what I experience.

3:49 - They do the same thing in Colorado if you are willing to sign a complaint. When you call *CSP they ask you if you want to file a complaint, and nobody does. Since nobody files a complaint, they can’t write a ticket. This reporter is mistaken.

They also feel like they drive better than those around them.

The problem is too many people have the 'ME' syndrome. Me and mine are the only thing that matters to these fools.

Problem is tech. People pop off behind the safety of a computer or phone everyday. Then get in their car, and think they’re just as safe from retaliation of others.

Too many slow people feel like it's their right to slow other people down. That is the cause of most road rage.

Nobody knows the rules. If they do they are refusing to go by them.

Weak laws? Havent been in New Mexico have you ladies? NO laws here.

Get a dash camera system. It proves what you are saying is true. It also makes you drive like your behavior might end up on TV. They are very affordable.

This stuff has become epidemic, I have resolved to take a passive approach to it , I just drive more defensively and don't react to people's bad driving , I just try to get myself and family from point A to point B without conflict. It's hard to do but you're safer to be passive to a conflict that someone has a 1+ton weapon to use against you. Just move on, you can't change others behavior, only your reaction to it.

THE POLICE AND THE GOOD CITIZEN can't be everywhere if it were up to me i would hand out citations that start at $5000 and go up from there the courts and the criminal justice system is way to easy on repeat offenders put me on the bench im the crazy person i would give a person $150.00 fine just sass talking the judge or disrespecting the court and i betcha this road rage would cure it self in a hurry

The Odyssey driver did not make anybody slam on their brakes. He was driving fast but far from reckless. Not a good example at all.

Watching where? I haven’t seen a highway patrol north of Denver in 6 months or more months. From Thornton to Longmont the speed limit is whatever the hell you want it to be. Last time I drove up to Longmont I was doing 77 miles an hour & counted 26 drivers going faster than I was. They were doing 80 to 90 miles an hour was my guess. So what the hell highway are the watching? My guess there all sitting on I-70 going west. So anyone driving north on I-25 fill free to do any speed you’d like as there appears to be no speed limit anymore. Obviously there’s no highway patrol around going north. What the hell are we paying these people for ? Hell last time I went south into Denver drivers were doing 75 in a 55 speed zone. What the hell ! Where are they?

There's that one old saying that goes: 'It takes TWO to tangle". In many cases,,, both (opposing) parties are equally as guilty in enflaming the road rage. Unfortunately the are many cases of "Dumb" and "Dumber" out there,,, also kind of like the "Special Olympics" (or something). Case in point: First Friday after Thanksgiving weekend,, year 2015. I had just completed the long drive from my hometown of Sacramento down to Los Angeles (driving my ladyfriend to see her father who had just been hospitalized). I was in far right lane of semi-urban intersection and had to STOP at the red light (couldn't turn due to cross traffic). Some young hot-headed male in Toyota tailgating and just behind me expected me to NOT stop for the cross traffic (expecting me to pull out there into a smash up wreck). He leaned on his horn. Five seconds later, it was clear for BOTH of us to turn right. After I turned, I let him go ahead of me. I then got right on HIS rear,, and leaned on my own horn (and rather loudly). He slammed on his brakes. Even so, I still avoided hitting him. I whipped into a left hand turn lane. He was stuck in the lane to go straight. He stared very menacingly and challenging at my ladyfriend and me (but I couldn't read his lips). He hand motioned for me to follow him. My left turn arrow turned green. I proceeded to turn left. He was stuck at his own red light,, in which to this day (7 1/2 years later), we have never encounterd each other again. Who knows,, perhaps (at the beginning) he did not see that there WAS cross traffic (along that South to NOrth street) and (as we were both traveling Westbound,, with intentions to turn right on Red) he may have been wondering,, AND saying: "Hey,, I don't see any friggin cars coming our way,, so why is this friggin A___-Hole ahead of me,, STOPping here instead of moving and turning right,,, ?" That would explain his honking at me. Yep,, we ALWAYS need to put ourselves into the other guys shoes.

I put an air horn on my truck, and regularly flip driver's off. But....i also haven't had a traffic ticket in FORTY YEARS....so i'll let you do the math. I almost got into an accident today when an older woman driver totally gave zero shits about right of way, and pulled into a four lane highway in front of multiple vehicles...then proceeded to stay in the fast lane....driving half the speed limit!!! Some of these "victims of road rage" TOTALLY cause the situation themselves....then want to lie to police and play the victim! I had a woman a few months ago texting on her phone and blocking traffic. I blew my horn to get her head out of her ass. She then sped up...went a few blocks...drove onto the shoulder to make a right turn (illegal) and as i went by her at a safe distance, she was flipping me off and screaming at me out of her window. A few minutes later a cop car pulls into the NAPA where i was, and procceds to tell me that he had been called because of MY reckless driving!! She lied and said that i "almost sideswiped her" as she was driving on the shoulder of the road (there had been at least four feet of space between us, and i couldn't have moved over any farther because of traffic going by me in the left lane!!) The cop then tells me that the idiots were parked across the parking lot watching us. After i got done telling the TRUTH about what had happened...he told me to have a nice day...and that he was going to go have a nice little chat with little miss entitled karen!!

That's 7 "reported" complaints. How many unreported? I'm guessing a lot more.

People like this need to walk from now on..its a privilege to have a license. They need to start walking..
