HammerFall is seriously one of the best bands in the world! and they don’t get the recognition they deserve! This is one of the rarest bands we have! And they never disappoint! They are true to metal! all their albums have had the same Formula. Unfortunately. there are other overrated bands who overshadows these old school heavy metal bands. Which is sad imo!

I've only heard Hector's Hymn by HammerFall (One of the best songs I've ever heard)- but for being only formed in the 90's 'till today, it's amazing how they have that retro rock sound with their singer.

I will never forget when I first heard the Hearts On Fire video come on on TV. I just jolted and ran into the living room, then called for my dad that loves rock. That's how I discovered heavy metal and later on many other bands. The first few bars just hit my being with "this aligns with my heart and soul" and from there it went.

Oh hell yeah! Im so happy to see you check out some HammerFall! Me as a fan who's listened to most of their music had kind of the same feeling about this song honestly. But then i remembered - When they released Bushido as a single for their 2014 album (R)Evolution, i had that feeling there too. Its not a favourite of mine. However, on this album is a song called "Hector's Hymn" wich pretty much sums up HammerFall for me and was everything i wanted. And with this wall of text, all im trying to say is that i am still very hopeful for an epic album coming in february! Hammer High!

Tank, I totally agree with you it has nothing that blows me away on the first listen, like other songs. It went straight to my playlist anyways as I know this is the kind of song that I still will enjoy listening to in a few months and, hey, even a few years from now. The song is ageless. And I also think that the song will come to its full potential live when people sing along, especially the chorus. So I look forward to seeing a live video from it. Hopefully not years from now, given the complicated times we live in at the moment :-p

Filmed at the amusement park "Liseberg" in central Gothenburg, Sweden. They do this thing called "Halloween at Liseberg" every year and the band obviousy took the chance :D Good song. Hammerfall stays true to their sound since like forever. I love your channel, keep rockin'! \m/

I don't that much to Hammerfall for a couple of years, because like Tank said...the music taste changes with the time. But they have some real epic anthems: Bloodbound Hearts on fire Reign of the Hammer Last man standing Any means Necessary Are only a few of them. And there is a very emotional content for me in the song "I believe", because I wanted the this song should play at the burial of my brother, but my family don't understand english so they choose german songs!🙄🤷🏿‍♂️ But for this song stands for me guiding him on his last ride!💪🏿 So once again super cool RR, I'm looking forward to the next ones! Keep going and LET'S GOOOO!!!🇺🇸🤘🏿🇩🇪

The thing I love the most about Hammerfall is that the CORE of their music sounds the same, not sure how to describe it better lol. I've grown up on their music, and as a Swedish metal lover, this is the music that I'm the most into. Hammerfall has some of THE most sing-along-inviting songs ever. And they are in the House of Horrors in Liseberg called Hotel Gasten (Hotel Poltergeist would maybe be the english name) and I fricking hate that attraction, it's (to my coward self) terrifying to walk through. And Joacim Can's voice is one of THE best metal singers in my opinion.

I saw HammerFall a few years back here in Portugal. I remember it was the last band of the festival (VagosMetal Fest) , and I was dead , I remember one of them sticked his tongue out to me cus I was almost asleep ahah , one of the best concerts I've seen so far though!!

A few days ago I was lucky enough to see Hammerfall live in Slovakia. They played this song and it was amazing live! Originaly it was ment to be a Helloween concert, but because of covid and delays Hammerfall joined them on tour. It was worth waiting a bit more than a year for a "bonus" like that, for sure!

HammerFall has a very large list of great fucking songs. Generally their most big believe it or not. Are not the video ones. Listen to "Testify" or "Origins" or "Dethrone and Defy" also their classics like Crimson Thunder. I think that they should choose release more videoclips for songs like those ones. I'm pretty shure that in the upcoming album will be there a great song without the respective promotional and potential videoclip. Anyway Hammer of Dawn sounds pretty good for me it's galloping and classic.

This could definitely grow on you. It did that for me, and if you got great speakers, You can hear the double bass, The full album comes early next year in February the 25th :), People doesn’t give them a chance.. And this is just a Single, you haven’t heard the full album :P I believe its going to be one of the best albums of 2022

What are your thoughts on the album a year later? I think the song Brotherhood is amazing! This song hasnt grown on me yet, though. But then again, i recently started loving any means neccesary, and thats not really a new song. And i've been devoted to HammerFall since One Crimson Night!

Metal in the 90s were, imo, mostly Grunge and death-metal, then Hammerfall came and gave us the melodies without the growl again in the late 90s.

The last time I saw HammerFall (Nov 2, 2019) was at the now closed Playstation Theatre in NYC opening for fellow Swedes Sabaton! One of the greatest shows I've seen. Two of my absolute favorite bands ever!

To add to your curiosity about this video. A few things to add if I may. I was wondering who the girl was thinking it was one of the bands family members. But it turns out in the area of the theme park there was a contest for kids to be in a music video. So the girl was the winner of the contest. And she is also a big fan of the director. Also I was at a hammerfall and Sabaton concert yes they toured together. I went to the one held on 10-10-2019 in Phoenix Arizona. They asked us before we entered the door to ask some questions that you have for both bands. And they did answer the questions about there guitars/bass/drums. They are custom made specifically for them. Since they have ties to the company since the very beginning. Thought to throw that in. Your videos are amazing man. My daughter is also a big fan. Check out battle beast and majestica ( tommy from sabatons band) definitely worth to look at both.

One band you NEED to check out, as soon as possible is Noble Beast, they only released one album and they are american, usually not linked to power metal but hey, they are second after hammerfall in my list of best power metal bands!

Haha. Quite often I noticed that Hammerfall impose a rhythm that accelerates speech and interferes with speaking. I love this group since childhood. Although their lyrics have a rather small vocabulary, which makes the lyrics look very similar.

Old gateway band for me! If you ever go to Gothenburg you have to visit Liseberg! It has some really cool rides and they decorate the park around Halloween and Christmas so it never gets boring there. I have also seen some really cool bands there like Alice Cooper, Slayer, The Haunted and Anthrax

The first time I saw HammerFall (Dec 13, 2002) was opening for Dio and Kings X at the now closed Roseland Ballroom in NYC. They were promoting Crimson Thunder at the time, but only got to play six songs in their set. NYC has very strict curfew rules. Dio was filmed that night, and was released as a CD/DVD as "Evil or Divine: Live in New York City."

Okay - total music production noob here: what‘s the deal with in-ear monitors? Do they have better sound quality then consumer-level headphones? Do you need special equipment to use them?

Nope, no special equipment needed, but you do need to get a mold of your ear canals so they're custom fit. But In-Ear Monitors' main purpose is to be used by bands in a live setting to hear their mixes while they're performing. Roadies also use them to hear what's going on. There are a lot of different levels of quality with in-ears depending on what you get, but the ones I'm using I am confident in saying they're better than 99.9% of consumer level headphones you could get anywhere else. Granted, ANYONE can buy in-ear monitors.

Little nitpick on your 4:36 Tank Fact: Mikael Stanne actually made it onto an official release, in a small way. He's a guest vocalist on their 2012 live Album "Gates of Dalhalla", where he performed "Steel meets Steel" from the first HammerFall album. Check it out if you get the chance, very exciting to get a taste of what HammerFall would have sounded like with Stanne on board.

I remember Glory to the brave album reigniting my love to power metal back in the day. But the problem with those guys, you heard it once, you've heard them all. No real innovation, no progress, just good old Hammerfall. Reminds me of classic beer, nothing new, but always welcomed :)

@@Smilebirde9 I understand you're a fan of them, and I do respect it. I didn't say they are a bad band, and I do enjoy some of their songs. Mostly it's Glory to the brave for nostalgia. But IMO, they are too repetitive, and the new song... well it's too weak for me to like it.

I have to agree with you Tank... It's ok.. but missing something. It seems generic. What they do is ok, but I would never say to someone OMG, you need to listen to these guys. Great reaction and hope everyone is staying safe.

Hammerfall and Virgin Steele got me into metal back then (1997/1998). Hammerfall's first 4 albums were great. Chapter 5 was very bad, Threshold was great again and then there were only bad albums. I think Hammerfall is still ok as background music, but it's no longer a band that I can hear intensely.

I've used to listen to HammerFall a few years ago. The new Song is okay, but for me it feels like I've heard it before. Don't get me wrong, you can hear, who's the artist and I still like the unique voice and it's definetely no bad quality in production but Yeah.. No feel to headbang to this one

If we are looking at swedish bands shouldent we take a look at Hellacopters, not that its real metal, its more hard rock/punk but ts fantastic anyway and Dave Groll said its the best band in the world, gotta count for something

Yepp, "Hearts on Fire" was it for me as well. I listened to their music many years, till they kinda fadet out. Maybe I should give'em another spin.

Have you ever seen them in concert? Definitely worth it next time they come near your area. I've seen them 5 times total. Ya some songs might sound different then most I can agree to that. But they always come out strong in the end.

@@sharonvargas957 Well, yes... I've seen them in like 2004ish. It was their "Winter Ice Festival". Along with Lordi (great live opener), Thunderstone and Firewind. I've been a great fan of them till "unbend, unbowed, unbroken" (my personal high point), but after that they kinda lost me.

Hammerfall were one of the first metsl bands I discovered for myself. They almost never let me down, I didn't really like Infected to be honest. That song is great.

Infected is one of the best albums... There is nothing wrong or different in that album. They have the same formula in that album, But any band can make changes once in a while.. And this song is true HammerFall

Could you please react to another song from them but its a remix, ”Living In Victory (2020 Remix)” or Keep the Flame Burning (2020 Remix) It sounds massive! and super brilliant. One of the best remixes i ever heard from a Metal band 🔥🔥🔥
